Dr Donnefeld was amazing. He was very kind caring and explained what was going to happen step-by-step I had my son who had his Lasik and mine done at the same time. We had two different types of procedures. Both of them went excellent. He guides you through everything to help you feel safe, calm and knowledgeable to what is going on. Within two hours I could see fantastic 2020 it was amazing. After struggling my entire life since I was five years old with thick glasses, I was a new woman.

Dr. Donnenfeld removed a cataract in my right eye about 10 years ago. He also corrected my vision which was about 20/400 to better than 20/20. I do need reading glasses 2.75 but that's a good thing because I do a lot of close up work with power tools and needing reading glasses I never forget to use them. They are my safety glasses. I had already lost sight in my left eye do to complications from cataract surgery in 1993 so my wife and I were a little worried about the surgery. We were referred to him by my retina surgeon, Dr Repucci, who had just repaired a tear in my retina of my right eye and told me that the cataract had grown to the size where I would be legally blind. Dr. Donnfeld made us feel VERY secure about the surgery. He was right. I am followed by the retina specialists at the North Port Veterans Hospital. I just had an appointment today and my eye is in perfect condition and it is still 20/20. I can't say enough good things about him. His staff was great also.

Dr Donnenfeld is one-of-a-kind. Went through many doctors in the past five years I don’t know why I didn’t find dr Donnenfeld from the get go! He is just amazing

Dr. Donnenfeld has now done lasik for two generations of my family. My father’s procedure was 20+ years ago and mine was this last Friday. He has treated us with the utmost respect and care. Overall, we felt like family during our meetings with him. After getting lasik done and sleeping for a few hours, it was breathtaking to finally open my eyes and see 20/20. While I did get a scare during my recovery, Dr. Donnenfeld was right there to address it and reassure me that my healing was perfect. I can’t wait to see how my vision improves further as I proceed through my recovery. Thank you Dr. Donnenfeld.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Donnenfeld. The procedure was brief and painless. My recovery time was very rapid. Best of all, my clarity of vision is something I have not experienced since I was a kid. Dr. Donnenfeld was very thorough, answered all my questions, and made me very comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone needing cataract surgery.

Just had Lasik done and Dr. Donnenfeld was a class act! The best in the business and made me feel extremely comfortable and safe. The procedure was simple and well explained. I would Highly recommend him for Lasik or any other procedure! Thank you!

I had Lasik surgery about 2 weeks ago with Dr Donnenfeld and he was absolutely FANTASTIC! I can not say enough great things about him and his staff. Anjali helped with all of my scheduling needs, questions on preps and payments and was always available when I called. They were very professional, kind and patient. I was really nervous to get this done and Doc and his team really helped to keep me calm and trust the process. I had seen him for a week follow up and was having some dry eye issues. When i called the office explaining my concern, i spoke with Kerry who got me in early with Donnenfeld to double check everything was ok. He reassured me it was normal and gave me samples of drops to help fix the issue. 100/10 recommend them, would give more than 5 stars if I could!!!

Just cancelled my procedure with Dr. Donnenfeld. During my initial consultation the technician was cold and distant. During my consultation they told me I'm a perfect candidate and have no concerns about performing LASIK, but completely glossed over the risk and side effects. Had follow up questions after and called to speak to Dr. Donnenfeld. Played phone tag a few times before finally getting to speak to him. Over the next few days did some more research about the different technologies and about other patient's experiences and things they wish they had known/considered. Called this morning to see when I could speak to Dr. Donnenfeld again and was told I should come see him in person. I agreed. Then I got a call from Dr.Donnenfeld to answer my additional questions but told I "have to make this quick". He quickly rushed through reading off my measurements. I asked a few questions such as which technology he would be using and how he was determining the procedure that was right for me. He got frustrated and told me that I'm micromanaging my surgery and am not someone who should have the procedure if I can't trust him and that I should just cancel. Never in my life have I had a doctor tell me I am asking too many questions about a procedure.

What can I say Dr Donnenfeld has been incredible. I had my eyes originally done at TLC and they didn't honor their side of correcting my vision, instead I was given the run around. But OCLI had no issues with correcting the problem for me. Great communication, staff was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend them.
