PLEASE READ.⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️Seven years ago when I 23 years old , I agreed to a procedure that would affect me in the deepest, most devastating way possible. I was told by OBGYN Dr. Marc Behar that I had a cyst on my right ovary , that It was imperative to remove it. At my age surgery was a scary word but cyst was too. Even though I had no pain, I was scared , I trusted this specialist’s opinion . My mother advised me against it, she knew there were other methods to minimize a cyst, sadly and against her recommendation I opted to get the surgery. The fear of the cyst jeopardizing my fertility ultimately drove me to make that decision(the irony). It turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. When I woke up from surgery I was in excruciating pain. It was as if the pain was telling me something had gone wrong and life would never be the same, and it hasn’t.No one explained to me that with this surgery came the risk of losing part of my ovary or my ovary altogether. No one told me that this surgery would affect my fertility by diminishing my ovarian reserve , making it difficult to conceive a child. A mother is something that I have always dreamed to become. I have always known that being a mother is one of the things that I would be honored to become and which requirements I fulfill without no hesitation. Now, at the ripe age of 29, I find myself struggling with infertility.I am sharing this story publicly because I want to WARN young women about obgyn doctors eager to perform unnecessary procedures on females without explaining the risks and possible negative effects that come with it . I ask them to not allow drs to take advantage of their trust for science . Lastly, always, ALWAYS get a second opinion! Dr. Behar never offered me other options. He just rushed me to surgery . Surgery should never be a first option but instead a last resort. At this point I firmly believe that there was NEVER a life -threatening condition, but only monetary gain.Dr. Marc Behar, your reckless advice is nowadays costing me and my husband our happiness and dreams of holding our baby in our arms . I deeply regret the day that I walked into your office and I hope there will be consequences for your malpractices someday.

Dr. Behar and his team are extremely caring.As a first time mom they helped me feel comfortable throughout my whole pregnancy. They answered all my questions and concerns. As well as keeping me aware of any new updates. The wait can be annoying sometimes but it is worth the visit. I would recommend this doctors office 100%.

Ive been a patient for a little over 3 years now. Dr. Behar is a phenomenal Dr. He cared for me throughout both of my pregnancies and delivered both of my babies! He is knowledgeable, patient & just great at what he does! The office is clean, the whole staff is friendly and always helping with anything you need! Highly recommend Femmpro!

Dr. Behar is a very professional and knowledgeable doctor. He addressed all of my questions and concerns regarding my pregnancies, all the way up to delivery. He and his office staff are very courteous and always makes me feel very comfortable.

I love Fem Pro Dr Behar has been my GYN for over five years. I put my trust in him and his staff and I’m NEVER disappointed.

Beyond upset with Dr Marc Behar. He is arrogant and condescending. I went to him for a consultation for a surgical procedure I needed done and he made me feel awful. He spoke down to me and made me feel like he simply didn't care about my concerns at all!!!!!!!! He said "I have performed hundreds of these procedures so just schedule the surgery" He truly didn't care about my feelings or the fact that I am a fellow medical professional. He got me out of his office quickly and passed me off to the woman who schedules procedures so she could set me up in the hospital. I treat patients of my own in a different area of Medicine and know how treat people with kindness and with a caring heart. Dr Behar showed me NO compassion, zero empathy and gave me an attitude. I made the grave mistake of giving him a second chance by going back to see him. What a HUGE MISTAKE! He was just as obnoxious and unpleasant the second time Around. He did not even enter the exam room. I had to go back into the waiting room until he was ready to talk to me. He is not nice and is egotistical. He was rude and made me feel terrible! I have never experienced such awful "bedside manner" in my life!!! I will never return to his practice ever again and I know he doesn't even care about getting a negative review. Simply the worst MD interaction I ever, ever had!!! Stay away

The doctor is extremely kind and personable always makes me feel comfortable and answers all my questions.

Dr. Behar is friendly, answers all of your questions, and is clearly very knowledgeable in his field. He made me feel comfortable during my visit and I would highly recommend him to others.The office also uses an online portal that gives you all of your lab results, billing statements, and visit summaries which is incredibly convenient to use.

Love this office, very professional and welcoming. Will be welcoming my second child and I’m happy to know I’m in great hands

I love Dr. Behar!!!! He’s is a lovely doctor as well as a human.
