I will not go back to Dr.Werner because of his poor bedside manner. His assistant is way friendlier - not only did most of the work, but the assistant also made me feel at ease as I questioned all the different procedures. Maybe Dr.Werner is in a bad mood or just not a compassionate person. But that matters a lot to some people when it comes to choosing the right doctor. On top of that, the office is extremely hard to reach.

I am very happy with Dr. Chang at the Garden City office. As far as Dr. Werner is concerned, that is a different story. I found his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. He was rude and condescending. The technician who tested my eyes did not do the complete test. She taped my eyelid up and tested my vision, she never tested my eyes without the tape. Dr. Werner told me that my insurance would not cover the eyelid lift procedure. How would he know that my hooded eyelids were blocking my vision when the tech taped my eyelids up? I ended up going to another doctor. I will never go back to see Dr. Werner again.

Dr Werner was excellent. The staff surrounding him was terrible. After my appointment, the never sent me my prescription or my scans. Basically I got nothing out of my checkup and they charged my insurance. I am on the phone with them right now and they said they don't email the prescription, while in person they told me that they will send me everything on email. And I have been on hold since the last 20min.

Obviously this place don't care about patients and just greedy, overbooking patients. I should've read reviews before coming here. Wait time has been over an hour and a half and there's at least 10 people here still waiting who were here earlier than me. This is ridiculous everybody's time is valuable including patients ourselves! This isn't how to run a long term business, patients are running away after your office visits, Nassau county has many other doctors!! Never coming back!

I have been seeing Dr. Werner for over 20 years. He has always explained issues in a way that made sense. His expertise and caring personality has kept me coming back. I'm grateful for Dr. Werners exceptional level of care!

He is terrible. Bad attitude. Gave no information after 2 visits. Seemed irritated. Never called me back and neither did the office on three seperate occasions. Still waiting for test results after 5 weeks. I keep calling but no one calles me back.

NO , he was RUDE , unprofessional and could care less about my concerns , rushed me through , did some tests ( done by others ) and said eyes are good , good luck and went back to his personal business. I will never allow him to examine me again.

This doctor has a horrible, horrible bedside manner. He has a very condescending way of conversation. Made me feel like the reason for my appointment was a waste of his time. I went to this doctor on a recommendation from a friend. If I knew the appointment would be so awful, I would not have chosen this doctor. There are other physicians in the practice. Go to them!!!
