Great Doctor with a great staff!!!

Dr. Efros performed a radical prostatectomy on me in 1994; I’m still here in 2020. He’s a great surgeon.

I had the good fortune to have met Dr. Efros over 16 years ago. He has literally saved my life by his early, careful management of my recurrent bladder tumors. I see him for regular cystoscopies because these tumors reappear every 6 years. He has also helped treat my prostate cancer as well. My PSA test is now .001. Most recently, he performed a UROLIFT procedure on me that was a godsend. My prostate gland was choking my urethra. I have had numerous catheters inserted--and was hospitalized with serious infections. The UROLIFT in-office operation took 20 minutes and within days, my urination returned TO NORMAL. Dr, Efros is kind, sensitive to my pressing urinary problems---and most importantly: he is a brilliant urologist. My concerns become his concerns. He explains things to me and my wife in easy to understand language. He calls to follow up to check on my health. I wish my life ran as smoothly as his practice! Have I said that I want him in the Doctors' Hall of Fame?

I used to wake up many times during the night to urinate which was negatively affecting my life. When I would wake up, my wife would wake up so both of us were not happy. I also used to have frequent urgency through out the day which was difficult to deal with because sometimes a bathroom was not close to get to. Then I heard about urolift and decided to proceed with it. I am now 9 months post urolift and my life has completely changed all thanks to Dr.Efros. I only wake up once a night which is normal for a man my age. I also no longer have that annoying frequent urgency to urinate. I would like to thank Dr. Efros for his awesome work in performing this procedure. He is very easy to talk to and never pushed me into doing this procedure. He made sure I was the correct candidate for it. He also listens to my complaints and guides me in the right direction. Very grateful for him and highly recommend!

I had seen Dr Efros last year and was very pleased with his attention to my problem. Because I was only in NY for a short time, Dr. Efros arranged for me to see him before my procedure and scheduled it when he usually was not in the office. I am grateful for his caring about my needs.

I recently underwent a urolift procedure with Dr. Efros for urinary frequency and getting up to go to the bathroom a lot at night. Now, I am perfect! I only get up two or three times as opposed 6-7 times. So glad I got this done as it was very smooth and easy in the office! Highly recommend!

I recently underwent a urolift procedure with Dr. Efros. Prior to this procedure, I was getting up 3-4 times a night, my flow wasn't that great. Now, my flow is excellent and I can finally sleep through the night! I couldn't believe how quick the urolift was as it was only 10 minutes in the office without complications. Dr. Efros did an amazing job and really changed my life! Highly recommend!

I was having difficulty urinating for 3 months until I met with Dr. Efros. I tried different medication for my enlarged prostate with no improvement. He recommended the Urolift procedure. It was a same day, I was in and out the office within 45 minutes. It was 24 hours after the procedure that I returned to normal urination. Since 1/30/2019, I have had no issues with peeing.

I had a very pleseant and successful experience with Dr. Efros. I would highly recommened him. I did the Urolift procedure which was very easy with minimal pain. I was in and out the office the same day. After 2 days, I was able to return to my normal urinary patterns without any discomfort. This came after a year of urinary diffuculty. Highly recommended!

This eurolift procedure that was done by Doctor Efros was a huge success. I had a very large prostate and had trouble urinating and I have absolutely no problem today. I would recommend this to anyone with a similar problem.
