I had a very poor experience with this doctor. He kept recommending I wear a specific contact lens that I advised him that did not like and that were making my eyes red. He instead tried to sell me pills that would make the lenses more tolerable, instead of just trying a different contact lens as I requested. After bringing this to his attention, he blamed me for “miscommunication”. Also, he is not a very thorough doctor. The wait time I experienced was 45 minutes on average and he spent less than 15 minutes with me in the exam room. Also, my vision worsened from my previous exam, and Dr Schoenbart did not notice this. This resulted in having to have my glasses remade. So in summary, if you’re looking for a optometrist that doesn’t listen, rushes, doesn’t notice changes in your vision, and tries to upsell you on products of his choice, then Dr Schoenbart is perfect for you.

Dr. Schoenbart is very friendly, thorough, and knowledgable. He takes his time with each patient and explains things and answers all questions. I would highly recommend him as a great eye doctor!
