I was losing my eyesight in one eye. I'm an artist and was panicking at the thought of going blind. I went to a few different doctors who could not explain why. My primary doctor recommended Dr. Weiss so I went to see him. He immediately noticed I had a different type of cataract which was accelerating my vision loss. I had surgery and had immediate relief with restoration of my vision. Dr. Weiss is a genuinely nice guy and excellent doctor. I felt comfortable and confident with him. I highly recommend him.

I had one visit with Dr. Weiss due to having patchy and foggy vision. He didn't offer any solutions, but instead said to come back each year for testing. It was a waste of money. I am not returning to his office.

Dr. Weiss' office cancelled an appointment that I had to wait for four months. An hour before the appointment the office manager, Maryann B. called me to cancel this appointment that I have been waiting all these months for due to an outstanding bill, which I thought my insurance paid. Maryann is the most uncaring, unprofessional person that I have ever dealt with. Even though Dr. Weiss is a competent and skilled physician, his office staff are sorely lacking in common decency.

The office manager is rude and unprofessional. Telephone waits are unreasonable at this practice. ….can’t get a message to the doc!

I only have a complaint about his office accounting system.. I was sent a bill with a statement date 5 days after I paid my outstanding balance as I was leaving his office after a checkup.... Never pay a bill at his office.

I have seen Dr. Weiss since I was a child. Now that I have to deal with my own insurance & payments, I realize their billing practices are terrible! Do not go to this office for any routine eye exams! They bill the exam as a medical procedure to your health insurance rather than billing them as a routine eye exam to your vision insurance. This left me stuck with a $40 bill for a routine procedure (refraction) that my vision insurance covers. I should not have to pay for a procedure that is covered under my insurance. I am extremely dissatisfied with this office's billing practices!
