I went to him regarding a second opinion and the appointment was rushed, he claimed nothing was wrong with me and refuses to schedule another appointment. To him, stretching and acupuncture alone is good enough to overcome 15 years of chronic back pain.

Dr. Chibu has excellent communication skills as well as his skill as a surgeon. Prior to surgery on my cervical spine, I was in horrible pain, had neuropathy constantly, and could barely grip some days. Since my surgery, I have regained my grip and the neuropathy has ceased. My first appointment, he sat me down and reviewed all of the MRI. He clearly showed me and explained what I was seeing. He was not the first surgeon I saw. He was the doctor who was considerate of the fact that I was in agony much of the time. The other doctors I saw downplayed the seriousness of what was happening with my spine. I cannot express how much I appreciate Dr. Chibu's compassion and ethical treatment of me. I highly recommend him.

Dr Chibu is my hero! After suffering with tremendous back and leg pain for over 2 years, with no help from any other orthopedic surgeons, I was lucky enough to find Dr. Chibu and he immediately said I should never have suffered this long, and he would help me, he did indeed! I can now walk upright and live a pain free life, and my surgery was on February 17, 2020. Dr. Chibu is kind and compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. He takes care of each and every need regarding your surgery. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Chibu was very knowledgeable about the Laminectomy that I needed. He was kind and courteous and answered all my questions. I was not a big fan of the followup appointments and there were many, you wait for 45+ minutes and then only get 3 to 5 minutes with him, it's very rushed. However, he is also managing emergencies (like me once) and he works for a medical system that most likely controls the input and how he medically services his patients so I'm not upset about it. I'm grateful that I am still walking and other than nerves still healing I am pain free and it is because of him. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chibu!

after only 17 days post lower spinal surgery I slept all night pain and med free, first time in almost 48 years . . . Dr. Chibu, you "and your team" along with he hospital staff are to be commended. Thank you all ! ! !
