List of Cristina Rusu's Reviews
Dr Rusu is an Amazing Doctor, so sad to had seen her leave. Sorry I couldn’t follow you she took her time and listened not not make you feel like you were just a ticket number. Miss you dearly other Doctors could learn a thing or two from her❤️
My mom goes to Dr. Rusu. She is very knowledgeable, personable, and knows her stuff. She listens very well to the patient too!
Finally a doctor who pays attention when you talk. So happy I found her!
Dr. Rusu is always on time, friendly, personable, and attentive. In the past 3 or more years since becoming a patient, Dr. Rusu has been consistent. As someone having several unfavorable experiences with health care practitioners in the past, I feel comfortable and cared for by Dr. Rusu. Compassion matters and shows.
I would give her 0 stars if I could. Misdiagnosed my father saying he had cancer when he didn't
I was very impressed with Dr. Rusu. I have not seen an MD in person for over a year due to COVID. She took extra time confirming my medical history. She was personable, courteous, knowledgable and kind. I don't understand why previous reviewers use Healthgrades in order to criticize the safety precautions this practice is employing for its patients during COVID. Yes, the check in process was time consuming and annoying and could have been better explained in advance, but I will gladly put up with inconvenience in order to be kept safe.
Dr Rusu is a very pleasant lady, however she is not thorough at all. I am a retired RN, and very familiar with patient assessment. Since going to her I feel like I don’t even have a doctor anymore. I read the reviews about the time she spends with each patient, and to her credit,I have to say that that isn’t her fault. The health system is the one that dictates how much time the physicians can spend with their patients. The time she does spend however is mostly spent on the computer and not examining the patient. This is also due to the amount of documentation that is required by physicians. I am looking for another physician, but I fear that I won’t find one any better as they all must follow the demands of the health system. The medical care is not what it once was.
I understand things are flipped upside down due to COVID, but when I called with an infection/pain issue that has a couple of cross-over symptoms, they said it was fine to come in and get it checked. When I got there, I did the COVID screening call where they asked questions and said it was fine to come up. Then I got inside the building and was stopped by a COVID screener, who asked me the same questions, and because I had 2 of the symptoms on her checklist, I was blocked from going up and told to go back to my car. Instead of my doctor confirming that I was fine, they called me back and said I could not come up! What? You literally just said I could 5 minutes before when I answered the same questions with you! I went to the ER in another town instead for assistance and got the COVID test as well. Turns out I was negative as everyone suspected. Very disappointed that my doctor and her team basically left me out to dry with a serious pain issue + wasted my time, and will never go back.
I definitely would not recommend. She is rude, does not seem to prepare for visits (never knows my health history), and makes me feel like a burden.
I gave her multiple chances to do well and was met with dismissal and rudeness every single time. She does not listen, treated me like I was lying or crazy when I shared my symptoms more than once. I called with bad chest pain, during COVID, and I have a rare lung disorder and she scheduled a chest scan for WEEKS later.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
