List of Yochanan Burnstein Md's Reviews
I found Dr. Burnstein open to discuss my questions. What I found most helpful was he would be clear and to the point. As a person who has many medical visits, if you can explain what I need to know quickly the better. However, he does take the time to answer my questions thoroughly.
Very long wait times. Over books. Wait times ip to 3 hrs a visit.. Not right
Dr Burnstein performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes and I have had no problems.
Waited over an hour to see him and finally left so I could be on time for an appointment in my office. Duri9ng the hour no one came out to explain the wait or make an apology or ask if anyone would need to re-schedule. There was no attempt to return my $25 co-pay and I couldn't wait to discuss it. Since then no one has called to re-schedule, to apologize or to return the payment. I won't be going back and I will be sure to let others know of my experience.
After first paying a $25 co-pay with no receipt offered, I waited over an hour for a first visit. I told the woman at the desk I had to leave and she said, "Just a moment". I left so as not to be late for an appointment in my own office. I can understand falling behind, or an emergency. In this case, someone could have come out of the office and informed us or asked if we need to re-schedule. That did not happen. Nor has anyone phoned me to apologize or set up another appt. Nor has my $25 been returned.
Discomfort after laser iridoplasty led my wife to seek a second opinion at NY eye & ear infirmary where it was determined that the surgery was probably unnecessary.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
