I will like to said thxuu very much !!! All the team working with You!it gave me confidence and security and my Procedure-also ThxU Ms Danna and Kelly !! And Dr PATSALIDES Again!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏You the Best!!
As a physician myself I researched for weeks an expert in Neurosurgery and Neuro-radiology. I watched Dr. Patsalides teaching videos and it was evident that he was not only extremely knowledgeable but also uniquely compassionate. He reviewed my scans and discovered a reason for my “affliction” where five other radiologists reported “no apparent abnormality”. Dr. Patsalides is a Godsend
Seems like a nice enough guy and probably good at what he does. I had a video conference call with him once and he said let's do another one at a later date. Getting my new scans to the office was very difficult and time consuming but I finally got them over after shipping them twice and uploading. Also, my Mac computer didn't work with uploading the files and I had to find a Word computer. The operation and staff seem somewhat disorganized and seem like they don't have respect for patients' time. Every time I had a video conference I was waiting for at least an hour. The most recent time I waited for over an hour. I received a call about an hour and a half after my original appointment from another office staff member and the voicemail stated to give Donna a call. I called about an hour later and they said oh now you missed your appointment. They could have either jumped on the video conference or Donna could have emailed me and I would have been ready. Then they emailed me saying just ask your questions in this email and the Dr will respond. I complained about my experience then asked two questions with no response. I guess they didn't like that I was honest about my experience.

My family and I have been very grateful for Dr. Patsalides and his entire team who performed a very risky and highly specialized operation on my dad, treating the area where the neuro vessel meets the spinal cord. He was so patient, addressing all of our concerns and some more with compassion. We are very grateful.
A TRULY GIFTED AND COMPASSIONATE SURGEON I originally contacted Dr. Patsalides more than 2 years ago because I was having a problem with Pulsatile Tinnitus and knew he was an expert in diagnosing its causes and treating it appropriately if needed. An angiogram showed I had a dural arteriovenous fistula. My husband and I traveled from FL to NY for Dr. Patsalides to perform the surgery to alleviate my symptoms and to try and prevent future possible complications. At first I didn't know how the trip and all costs involved would be possible but God graciously provided both the right doctor and everything necessary. First and foremost I praise and thank Him for that. Second, I thank God for men like Dr. Patsalides who is not only gifted medically but also has a special gift of compassion...someone who truly cares for his patients. I had a virtual followup appointment today and things are going well. It was wonderful to speak to Dr. Patsalides again. I appreciate him so much and give him the highest recommendation.
For approximately 4-5 years I have silently suffered with pulsatile tinnitus daily! Some days were worse than others but I had to continue with life. I have a duty to serve in Healthcare as well. I went to a local interventional Neuroradiologist and an angiogram was preformed, CT, MRI, Venogram everything and his recommendations were to lose 50lbs. The other recommendation was to undergo a rather invasive surgical procedure that would include taking bone from my skull and placing it in the area behind my ear to stop the noise. I lost the weight and then some. The noise was still there and even the intensity of the noise had not changed. I began to research other physicians with experience with my problem for a second opinion. I came across Dr. Athos Patsalidas in NY and watched his videos on YT. I also read his research. I even read other testimonials from previous patients who underwent the venous stenting process. I gathered my medical records, CDs, scans, etc and sent them in. His staff was so helpful and I could tell they were familiar with dealing with out of state patients. Donna, Kelly, the whole team helped me throughout this whole journey. Immediately after the procedure, I was cured and I did not have to wait no longer for relief. Dr. Patsalidas cured my pulsatile tinnitus in a minimally invasive way. A peace I had forgotten about was restored and I am forever grateful 🙏🏾 . I can't thank him and his team enough! If I could give 1 million stars I would.
When my son was diagnosed with JNA, Dr. Patsalides played a big role in saving my son's life. He performed the 1st of 2 surgeries that my son received. The tumor was extremely vascular, meaning it bleeds. My son had severe nosebleeds from it. Dr. Patsalides performed an embolisation surgery to stop the bleeding with his breakthrough process. His surgery tremendously aided in the 2nd surgery to remove the tumor. My son didn't lose too much blood from the surgery. He was very thorough and patient in answering our questions. Dr. Patsalides helped to ease our worries while also being upfront and honest. He is an excellent surgeon and highly recommended.
If I could give a 10 star I would. Been dealing with vertigo, headaches, neck pain, and tinnitus for many years. Been diagnosed incorrectly for many years. I literally had an appointment and now I am on the right track. He is so knowledgeable it’s not even funny. His NP was so nice too. Made me feel very comfortable. Gd bless - Dr P will be my lifesaver. I know it. Highly highly recommend.
Dr. Patsalides and his entire team are amazing they are compassionate and they actually listen to you but more than that I have hope again. He did not think I was imagining what I was experiencing and all of the literature he has written on Pulsatile Tinnitus among other difficult neurological conditions shows his dedication to his craft and letting other doctors know these patients need to be heard and believed! I look forward to going back to NYC to have him help me to get better so I can continue to enjoy my family and life in general. A great doctor and a great practice!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
