I wrote an extensive paragraph and it wiped off. Everyone very professional today..Patrick, Mona, Christina and tech. Doc is always good thus why I still go to the office. They went above and beyond and the hour and a half went quite smooth today. I had many negatives over six years and for past month was so afraid to return. Wish I could have Mona anytime she is there but I know she is super busy; no drama was wonderful!

This is the 1st time I visited the Great Neck office (I've always been to the Rockville Centre office. Anyhow, the staff is excellent, friendly and professional. As for Dr. Eric Shakin, he is clearly at the top of his "game", combining his full explanations and professional expertise. Really an outstanding physician. Kudos!!!

Dr. Shakin combines a warm, pleasant manner with top notch professionalism and expertise. He answered all our questions and was kind and forthcoming. He administered an eye injection quickly and easily. For a first time patient, it was simple and painless.

Also when leaving around 4 pm there was only one person at the desk and people were lining up waiting to check in and out. My rating should really be fair not good. So the doctor didn't give me any hope, just a dismal outlook.

My initial visit with Dr. Eric Shakin was a excellent experience. He explained everything clearly and gave educational material and health care instructions. The staff also had wonderful customer service skills as well from the beginning to the end of my visit ie Juanita, Anora,Mike, Tina, Evonne and one other person who unfortunately don't recall her name.

I have been a patient of Dr Shakin for many years. He has been an exceptional Dr for me and other members of my family. His knowledge of the retina is second to no one. A few years ago I tore my retina and he repaired it with a laser in the office. He also gave my mother injections for her condition every few months. I see him on a what is now a yearly basis for my checkup. I recommend Dr. Shakin to anyone who needs a retinal Dr.

I didn't feel comfortable with so many patients in the waiting room, maybe mask should, be worn again,..just a thought.Dr Shakin my Dr for 12 years,he is kind caring concerned and the best Dr.
