He was not easy made you face your demons but worked a miracle for my family.

Someone with very little credentials, despite how hard he tries to make it look as if he's well versed. I went to my first session with him today, and he was HORRIBLE. For starters he said i need to not take my medication while seeing him, when he has no qualifications to even understand meds. He then proceeded to segway and pretty much begin with, "Well... You clearly are obese with eating problems". Keep in mind i'm a chubby girl, but nothing too crazy and my doctors have never said it was an issue. Not to mention what "therapist" body shames??? I'm reporting him and advising everyone to stay away from this imbecile. Appalling

I often find myself wishing that every doctor could be like Dr. Wolk. You will never find a more ethical and genuinely caring doctor out there. He has all of the qualities you would expect from a psychiatrist-a good listener, analytical, great memory, etc. but he takes it to the next level by how much he cares about his patients. He routinely calls after an appointment to discuss something he thought of after the visit. If you have something going on, he will call to check in frequently. I have been seeing him for several years and I cannot even begin to estimate how much of a difference he has made for me.

I really like Dr. Wolk. He is easy to talk and relate to. Good listener with practical mind. I have made lots of progress with him.
