Although Dr. Kaufman herself is very lovely the office is run quite badly. I have been a patient of Dr. Kaufman’s as has my husband since before they were taken over by Schweiger dermatology. I recently tried to make an appointment and was unable to. The incompetence of the phone person was just incredible. I was told someone would call me back….still waiting!

I recommend her to all of my friends and they love her too. She in thorough and concerned. Always ready to answer my questions. Very professional yet personal in her approach to me.

Overall great experience! She is kind and compassionate! She really knows her stuff! Great staff!

Least professional experience w/a doctor ever. I was called hours before my appointment - that I made months in advance - to be told the doctor was too busy and didn't feel like doing a skin exam. Months in advance and only hours notice that a doctor couldn't be bothered to see a patient? Unprofessional.

I was referred to Dr. Kaufmann from another Great Neck doctor who is also tops in his field. Her office was large, but efficient and friendly and had good coffee and muffins. It was crowded, but they have a large staff and I only had a short wait. The Doctor was very friendly and efficient and answered my every question. It was one of my best experiences at a doctor's office and I have already recommended her to a couple of friends & my wife & scheduled a followup. They also have a parking lot.

She's patient, thorough and very considerate and great bedside manner. She identified a malignant melanoma, and was so conscientious in following up with me, after she referred me to the oncologist for surgery. Also identified I had an infection afterwards, which the oncologist didn't see! Even called me, and prescribed medication/personally talked to the pharmacy on a Saturday! Yes can be a little tough to get an appointment, but she's worth waiting for!

Scheduling exams is a horror story. Easier to schedule an appointment with the President. Long time patient now going elsewhere

I was really impressed. Nice, thorough, authoritative. I had a skin cancer screening and had one small mole removed that did in fact have an aberrant profile upon analysis. Dr. Kaufman was really nice, friendly, responsive. Made time to do a procedure right away -- good technique.
