I would advise anyone needed colon surgery if any kind to avoid mark greenwald like the plague. He failed to adequately warn me of all the potential issues my surgery might create like bleeding for days! He blows off ur concerns as if non existent and has the compassion of a box of hammers. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy!

great dr. very caring. believed me when I said I wasnt well, even though what was wrong wasnt visable. Took my concerns seriously, took care of getting me a CT as an emergency, and then got me admitted. He even got me the first surgery of the day so I could leave the next day. I felt so grateful to have a great dr.

Absolutely the worst doctor I have ever been a patient to. Zero empathy for an extremely sick patient - Dr. Greenwald performed surgery on me that did not relieve my symptoms, and failed to take any action to help me after his surgery failed and merely dismissed me with no plan to help figure out how to handle my debilitating pain. I would never recommend anyone to this doctor and am astonished and saddened by the low quality of care that he exhibited toward me.

Dr. Greenwald is a great Dr and Surgeon and is supported by a great office staff. He instills confidence and is there to answer all your questions. He preformed a colon resection on me and i would recommend anyone in need visit him.

13 yrs ago he gave me back my life. I'm now 82 and haven't experienced any problems. Excellent surgeon!

My name is Elvis J Frias and I was referred to Dr. Greenwald for a resection of my colon after a cancer was found in a polyp after a routine colonoscopy. Dr. Greenwald and his staff were there 110% behind my recuperation and well being. Everything he explained happened exactly to the "T"! From his anesthesiologist to the nurses at North Shore University Hospital, nurse Danielle, nurse Jeanine, Marissa, Reina and Althea. I would recommend anyone to put their health in Dr. Greenwald's hand as God has given him the skill to give you continued long life. My recovery has been so great that there was no pain just little discomfort which was expected. Two 1/2 inch incessions and one 1 3/4 inch. Again, thank you Dr. Greenwald for giving me the care and continued life with my family and friends. God bless you always and thank you for caring for my well being.

Excellent surgeon who puts his patients before himself. Explained the process exactly as described and his staff and hospital are the BEST!! I would recommend to family and friends without a doubt.
