I saw Dr. Angel for my bursitis in my hip. He has the best bed side manner I’ve ever seen. His office staff is so lovely and efficient. Highly recommend!!
I had a hamstring avulsion injury which was repaired by doctor Angel. After 18 months my hamstring was close to 100 percent. This is a very complicated surgery that usually doesn't have v great outcomes. You need a skilled doctor like angel to do it.
Excellent doctor. Experienced, knowledgeable, patient, good "bedside manner." Office staff is friendly and organized too. Highly recommend.
Dr Angel is a very caring, warm. Extremely competent physician. It is rare to get that combination these days and am grateful he was available to tend to my injury. Can’t recommend him highly enough
Doctor cared for my right knee meniscal tear that required arthroscopic surgery. Was very professional at all times. Did not rush to surgery but when symptoms persisted did outstanding job with excellent follow up. Have sent multiple other patients to him that have all been very impressed with his care.
I was treated and operated for a torn meniscusby Dr Angel he is very thorough ,nice ,and excellent surgeon .I am happy with his care.
The only reason I didn't give this doctor and his group 0 stars is because I had to choose at least one star to make a comment. I had an appointment lined up yesterday with Dr. Michael Angel for my knee. I not only spent time on the phone clearing my insurance with them but at there direction physically went to my imaging center to get reports and also made sure I had the disk. When I arrived on time I was led into a very busy waiting room with lines for multiple doctors. Because there is a spike in Corona 19 on long island that was a big concern along with looking past the counter and seeing at least a half a dozen employees congregating in very close proximity. I was handed an iPad and again asked for my insurance card and ID. I gave them my reports insurance and ID. I then proceeded to fill out the multiple pages on the iPad including my agreement to pay if my insurance didn't. Many of their questions had nothing to do with my knee such as; are you right handed left handed or ambidextrous? Also about race and ethnic background. If you didn't answer everything, the page will not let you advance. After 15 minutes of this nonsense in a crowded reception area with TV blasting, patients brushing against me and employees shouting out names, I had enough. I waited my turn and gave the iPad back. The girl behind the desk said "you can't see the doctor unless you fill out every page". I told her I filled out enough, probably 7 to 8 pages and she arrogantly said "you don't want to see the doctor today?" I said "No, You say I don't want to see the doctor today." She then said "have a seat and I'll send someone over." She sends over a girl with mask and gloves on to fill out the iPad they gave me before that has probably been handled by a hundred people and she proceeds to ask me the same irrelevant questions. I requested to see a manager and her and the girl behind the desk said they spoke to a manager and the doctor and said "if I don't fill out the paperwork I can't see the doctor." I don't know what they told the manager or the doctor but in any event the manager didn't even give me the courtesy of speaking to me. In my opinion the place was a circus and if Dr Michael Angel's staff can't even get my paperwork right I would have to be out of my mind to let him operate on my knee. I never got to see the doctor nor would I want to after the outrageous way I was treated.
Professional, excellent bedside manner and an amazing surgeon.
I had meniscus tear surgery and still have pain. I am unhappy with my results.
Dr. Angel injected my shoulder and I feel great.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
