He dismissed me after keeping me waiting over an HR. I don't have any answers and I will need to get a second opinion to read me the blood work he sent me for. I took his advice and this guy still has no answers after the problem kept arising. Very long wait and not easy to get an appointment.
He dismissed me. I need to go back if a hematological need arises. So basically I am without answers and I did what he told me to. I waited forever in the room to see him for 5 minutes and he really didn't describe my blood work. So I got more blood work and I will need to find someone else to go over it without even examining me. No I won't go back. He didn't want to play detective work to find the source of my issue. Thanks for nothing.
Yes. He started treating me for a platelet disorder. I now have Stage 4 CUP. He is not discouraging. We treat this like a chronic disease.
He is incredibly ill mannered, and is taking advantage of cancer patients. I had a CAT scan with him and he won't even send me the results. I had to travel out of my house to his office to get the results. He doesn't return my calls, and his staff doesn't bother responding to me either. He charges even more money then what I should be paying for treatment. His attitude is extremely rude. He also dismisses another types of treatment that are available. He sticks to what he wants to do, not what is best for my health. As a doctor, you're supposed to treat your patients with respect. I'm honestly surprised he's still a doctor.
I had the misfortune to deal with this doctor during my hospital stay. In short, He is very unprofessional, can not answer questions following his comments. And gets extremely frustrated when asked questions to answers he does not know. To put it lightly this doctor went as far as suggesting that I had a very serious health issue when it turned out that all i had was something that required nothing more then bed rest. He runs unnecessary tests to justify his job and reason for being. With no results to follow. I wish i had done my research before even talking with him. I would have saved myself and my family a serious amount of stress.
I do not recommend this doctor in anyway by any means. He is scams patients as much and as quickly as he can. I have never met any doctor like this one. He's license should be revoked and removed from the health field.
I feel this doctor isn't well informed and should brush up on his bedside manner and the way he handles patients. He is always late and has no regard for the patient waiting and Is rude with no apology. He is only interested in making money. I feel he is arrogant and his concern is not for the the patient. When asked a question relating to the patients illness he skirts around the issue. He doesn't explain what it means so how is the patient to understand. Apparently he didn't finish in the top ten of his class. He also doesn't spend much time with the patient, he gives you the wham bam thank you mam treatment after you have spent the entire day waiting to see him. Then you get a reply see you at your next appointment. I ask you is that any way to treat a patient with such a serious illness? Where is the compassion and empathy for that patient. I see that there is none! He isn't the only doctor there, there is no organization at that facility and should be run much smoother, there are so many sick people waiting to be seen or have treatment. Isn't the patient's time worth anything also? Personally from own experience I would never return to "QUEENS MEDICAL ASSOCIATES" again I don't care about that rating they received because it really isn't justified and should never have been rated so highly.
He did not seemed concerned about my problem and just referred me to another specialist. He didn't care how I felt. I know it's out of his range of specialty, but his attitude could have been better. I traveled long and far to see him, as recommended, and heard he was good, but his caring isn't.
He makes me feel as though I am going to be perfectly okay. I love his bedside manner. He makes me feel like I have a fighting chance.
