But was very disappointed in the way he handled an office manager in the NYU Bridgehampton office when she was extraordinarily difficult and contentious. Aside from that, I think he is the gold standard for doctors - caring, smart and responsive. I would recommend him but would suggest you see him in Riverhead.

So far the experience has not been good. The doctor was supposed to follow up from 2 heart tests within 48hours. It’s now been 2 weeks. Obviously terrible follow thru.

Dr. Monserrate is caring and empathetic. He takes his time to not only listen to and treat his patients but to also get to know them. I recommend him and all of the providers of East End Cardiology.

A little under a year ago, by listening to what I was saying and not just looking at test results, Dr. Monserrate ordered a stress test with contrast that indicated I needed further investigation. His referral to Dr. Gambino in Garden City for an angiogram saved my life. My LAD artery was 99% blocked and a stent was put in....just in time! I have since insisted that my husband also become a patient of Dr. Monserrate, and he has been calm, informative, concerned and is treating my husband, who is the worst patient in the world. Each visit proves what a wonderful doctor he is. He is kind, understanding, knowledgeable, patient with his patients, willing to explain what is happening in a way for the lay person to understand. We are lucky to be in his care. I would recommend him and East End Cardiology very highly. These doctors work together and leave no stone unturned.

I have found Dr. Monserrate to be professional, concerned, considerate and available to answer any questions and concerns. I believe his judgement is excellent. I also find the cooperation between doctors in East End Cardiology extremely professional and shows the practice's concern for their patients to be outstanding.
