Dr. Chen is an amazing, caring doctor. She saved my life. Had two surgeries with her including a double mastectomy. Her follow up care is great. Highly recommend.

Distressed beyond displeasure does not do justice to the surgeon and her assembled team that included an oncologist and geneticist. Judgment is not expressed concerning the surgeon's skill with a scalpel since we never reached that step. What was emotionally alarming is what proved to be misdirected cancer information and opinions by a trio that quite fortunately was corrected once we consulted with, and then used, an internationally acclaimed breast surgeon practicing in Manhattan. My salutary advice...do your due diligence and do not accept at face value what medical information and recommendations are doled out without first consulting others who may be more well-versed in the field.

Extremely poor and unsettling with information and recommendations that proved troubling after consulting a Manhattan breast surgeon of international repute. The team, which included an oncologist and geneticist, were wanting in ways that intimidated diagnostic and treatment options. Get a second or even third opinion from a physician judged to be beyond superior in his or her chosen discipline.

Dr. Chen is a wonderful and caring surgeon. She’s a wonderful person as well who cares so much about her patients. Dr. Chen takes all her time in answering your questions and concerns and explains everything to you. She made me feel comfortable from my first visit and I loved her from my very first visit. She saved my life and I’m ever so grateful for her and to have her as my doctor. Thank you for everything you did and still do for me. I love Dr. Chen she’s the number 1 surgeon and doctor. I highly recommend anyone I know with a problem to go to Dr. Marie Chen!

A little over a year ago Dr Marie Chen preformed a bilateral Mastectomy due to Breast Cancer. She is compassionate, an extremely gifted surgeon. She explained EVERYTHING with pictures, drawings and detail of the pros and cons for each option. I would recommend Dr Chen to ANYONE having to face Breast Cancer.

Dr. Chen was excellent! She was very comforting, took her time with me and explained everything that was going on SO well. When you are nervous you need someone that will answer all your questions and be thorough and that she was! She made me feel at ease. I will be following up with her in 6 months:) I would highly recommend her.
