List of Jeannette L Yuen Md's Reviews
Dr. Yuen had ordered a heart monitor device for me. I was subsequently charged $3k for the device. When I asked Dr. Yuen if her office had checked whether or not it was covered by insurance, she basically said that they cannot guarantee insurance coverage and that it was not her problem. She had also recommended an (expensive) calcification test that another doctor deemed was not necessary.
Dr. Yuen set the standard by which I measure all of my other health care providers. She takes her time to understand you as patient and to explain any conditions or symptoms.
She’s an unbelievably caring doctor who goes above and beyond for her patients.
She’s great if you want someone who talks to a computer screen and has no compassion or any real concern for you. She is abrupt, cold and responds aggressively to simple questions.
She has been my father's cardiologist for years. As he's gotten older he's gotten more fatigued quicker. She had him do a stress test and even on the treadmill he was wheezing. She said it was due to asthma and gave him a Rx for an inhaler. A few weeks later, he's in the hospital and gets diagnosed by another cardiologist for congestive heart failure! How can you miss that?! Would not recommend her ever!
I found her to be impatient, dogmatic, uncaring. She didn't want to be questioned. This is what had to be done. She told me to think it over & walked out. I thought it over & I walked out. I would never recommend her to anyone. Go elsewhere. I never met such a rude doctor.
She’s rough, uncaring and all she cares about is administering tests to line her pockets. If you have an illness and good insurance stay away. I have been her patient with serious heart problems for 4 years. When experiencing an occasional illness she rarely called me back. Impossible to get a hold of her. Always had to run to the emergency room to get care. This is not a doctor. She’s a money machine and so is the entire Scarsdale medical group. If you’re thinking of going to her for heart problems please stay away. She is a terrible cardiologist and landed me in the hospital time after time because she mis diagnosed. She almost killed me until a real cardiologist started to look after me. I wrote this review so that I could possibly save other people the same experiences that I had and possibly their lives. STAY AWAY
I was a patient of Dr Yuen. I had an appointment to see her at her office for a follow up after being out of the hospital for 10 days. But she was too busy to see me even though I had made an appointment a week prior. Told me to come back another day. This is the way it’s always been with her - I’ve been a patient of hers for over 4 years. She is terrible doctor- uncaring, always rushed, gruff and never explains anything. Her very poor skills as a cardiologist and internist put me in the hospital. Please stay away from her. I don’t want someone else going through what I did. Her entire staff administers needless and useless tests to pad their wallets. That’s how she makes her money. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, honest doctor lo elsewhere.
Met Dr. Yuen for a consultation. Was seen with no waiting time. Dr. Yuen and her staff were courteous and professional and spent time discussing my concerns.
Dr. Yuen has been my primary physician for over 20 years. She is truly exceptional. The care she has given my husband and me is beyond the norm. I believe my good health is, in part, due to her attention to, not only, my medical needs but also my emotional ones.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
