List of Children's Hospital At Montefiore's Reviews
The bad outweighed the good for me. The staff that’s good is really incredible. However the staff that is bad is horrendous. I’d say 50% of the time my appointments were good and 50% of the time I’d leave crying and frustrated. My retrieval went awful with zero explanation although only receiving 1 embryo I did end up pregnant. If communication and being involved is your thing I would go somewhere else. About 90% of the time I had no idea what was going on during my IVF journey. If you have nurse Kristina may the lord have mercy on your soul she is an awful person and a horrible nurse. She is catty and made me feel extremely uncomfortable when I would ask my initial nurse a question. I eventually requested to never have contact with Kristina again because she was so nasty to me I was told they were unsure if my wish could be fulfilled. I mention patient advocacy and all of a sudden Kristina was no longer my nurse. All of the nurses who took my blood were incredible and friendly. Nurse Jessica is the best And most of the doctors I found to be nice but not forthcoming you better ask a lot of questions or you will sadly be in the dark like it was. Unfortunately I didn’t realize what questions to ask because this was my first time. I only had a few issues with payment but Michelle was great and always took care of me if there was a mix up. Dr. Singh was fine not super personable but got the job done he did not do my retrieval. Good luck and just be careful. I personally would not go back if given the chance.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE all they want is money no one knows their job. it was just a waste of time and money.
Save yourself time money and a headache by going elsewhere. They will bill you incorrectly the amount of times I had to call the billing department is ridiculous and they still can’t straighten everything out. I wish I could get back all the time I wasted here. I feel scammed.
Dr. Pollack is a wonderful Dr. Theyre very helpful and courteous. Always along dealing with the staff during a stressful time. So lucky for the recommendation to here. So thankful because of my 2 kids.
The only reason I gave this place 3 stars is because of Dr. Erkan Buyuk. He’s the most pleasant and well mannered doctor I have ever met. He runs all test and then invites you to his office to explain every single thing. When I found out he left the practice I should’ve packed and left as well From the front desk to my new doctor awful I’m managing my own case. I’m constantly calling to follow up and ensuring they note next steps in my chart. I have requested my medical records at this point I’m still awaiting a response.
best
I was under care for 3 years at this RE. Dr.byuk was the best. He was the reason why I stood so long. The billing department is very unorganized and unprofessional. I went to start treatment and was told I have an outstanding bill and services will be denied . Needless to say they were charges from several years ago that werent billed accordingly. I spoke to the administrator who told me she will get back to me and its been 9months and never returned my call. She the proceeds to ask me if I am going to pay since it was an elective service. My response was maybe if your billing department billed accordingly this wouldnt have happened. She then said they were going to start making patients pay up front before services. Just wondering how if services have to billed thru the insurance company and authorization if needed. Administrator had no sympathy whatsoever. With that being said I was able to locate Dr.Buyuk at RMA...
I have nothing but great things to say about this office. They are thorough and amazing. I wrote the office a 3 page thank you letter describing everything theyve done for me the different professionals thats helped me along the way. Infertility is stressful. The process is stressful but they do the best they can to help us. Ive been a patient since 2017 and the office my husband and I never gave up. It was a team effort. They became a family to me. I love them so much The office is just absolutely amazing but have to give a shout out to few folks that just go above and beyond Yvette my fav phlebotomist Dr. Pollack Dr. Kucherov amazing amazing nurse Jessica Heather Athena the embryologists Front desk ladiesNichole Lisa Josefina Sigrid my financial counselor... Im always greeted with a warm smile no matter how early or late in the day. If anyone ANYONE has an issue or has less than a 5 star experience with them please talk to me first. I would love to hear your experience and help work things out. Nothing but love love love to my Hartsdale family
Avoid this department particularly Piera Graven. I initiated a process seeking to maintain my confidentiality as best as possible here nearly one year ago with this dept. and shortly into the process it became apparent to me that I had not chosen wisely. Due to neglience on the part of their phlebotomist whose name Piera Graven refused to provide to me today despite this being part of patients rights I discontinued further services. When discussing my decision with Dr. Staci Pollack and explaining that I had experienced problematic professional implications due to the phlebtomists neglience I am a doctor who treats patients my concerns were minimized and redirected onto my patient. This further confirmed my decision to extricate myself from this setting. I was reimbursed for some services considering I dc treatment early. However I have been going back and forth with Montys billing dept. about a charge from this experience. I explained I stopped due to negligence on their part but after personally going to the dept. today to resolve the issue I was told the billing service wasnt the specific date of service that the negligence occured. I agree. However there was no ROI since I had to leave due to their neglience. Piera common sense dictates that since I did not receive the end result desired having not finished the process due to your staff I owe nothing. When did basic logic go out the window?I plan to proceed with litigation. I can attach a copy of my injured body part for those interested. In addition to the above issue I never saw a human being smile at a patient or each other for that matter other than Dr. Pollack and the Fed EX worker today dropping off a package. I listened to Piera Graven complain about an overbooked schedule while I sat 2 feet ahead of her waiting nearly 1 hour to be helped...by her evidently. I also listened to another medical professional complain about working more hours for no over time. Welcome to health care I do it literally every day with a smile on my face because I am appreciative of my career.Monty billing etc please call me to repair this issue. Thank youSincerelyDr. Nikou
Thank you Dr Dodson for all youve done for out family

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
