I have been with this doctor for many years and never been disappointed. He has answered many of questions regarding my health.
Had the best experience with the service and care this office provides to their patients. Quick appointments fast service and as far as prenatal care the best I had . Thank you for your service and support to this medical group.
When I first came here it was decent. Over the years/(even months) they have changed some of their staff and honestly it just keeps getting worse. The medical assistants do not Greet you warmly at all. It's the longest wait from one room to another and even after hearing that my pregnancy is desired my doctor still mentioned abortion options. More than once. My doctor was a day late sending in my prescription and expected me to memorize all the information being thrown at me. (What I can and can not eat, usually they write it down or hand you a paper) I scheduled my appointment originally for an annual and my breast weren't even checked. And on the sheet they give you in the waiting room I specifically wrote annual + positive home pregnancy test. My fiancé called and I wanted him to come in the sonogram room with me so I asked my doctor if I can answer the phone to let him know they'll be doing a sonogram and the doctor and medical assistant seemed very annoyed by this. Even rolled their eyes. However I still kept cool and polite. When the doctor left the room the MA gave me a gown to put on that she said I'll be needing for the sonogram. She told me to not dress. However I felt uncomfortable stepping out the room without pants even if the other room I was going to was across the hall, so I put on my pants anyways because I figured when I get in the other room the sonogram tech could just give me a second and I can take the pants right off again. The MA said to me" I told you to stay undressed from the waist down for a reason your sonogram is going to be done vaginally" and her tone was filled with annoyance. Please beware these people suck. You won't even need a sonogram or blood work and they will send you to do it just to get your money. It didn't happen to me this visit but it's happened to me before at this same location. There are a few other things that happened in my experience but I honestly don't even feel like continuing. Don't waste your money. (Writing from my fiancé's account for privacy reasons) oh also, I called complaining because I was very annoyed on how it took a day and a half for my prescription to be sent (the doctors excuse was that they sent a prescription of prenatal pills that aren't covered by my insurance, so it's over the counter. Never explaining this in our visit. In the visit she told me she's going to send a prescription to my pharmacy and they'll let me know if it's cheaper to get it over the counter, but she will still send it anyway)-- btw I have GHI they cover basically everything. Anyhow after a whole day passing (I'm preggo and hormonal) I was fed up with the constant no sorry we haven't received your prescription yet from my pharmacy I decided to call my doctors office and complain. The woman who picked up is KiKi... I was explaining to her my frustration and she kept trying to cut me off. Then starts laughing as I'm telling her the story and goes hold on I have to transfer you... I got transferred and the woman who took over was very kind and polite. One savior in my whole experience. Also, if I could mention everyone's name I would. I probably mentioned the least important persons name ( the doctor and MA made me feel the most uncomfortable ) but it's the only name I remembered because she answered the phone saying " doctors office KiKi speaking. " her laugh to my frustration was upsetting but the least disappointing. The MA was probably the first disappointing and the doctor took a good second place.
The scheduling in this office is insulting. They triple book every slot and you wait for a minimum of an hour, sometimes up to two hours for every single appointment. I had to have a procedure done in their office today and be put under sedation, I still waited well over two hours to be seen. They overbook. Money is clearly their bottom line and not patient care.
Terrible Doctor, caused me to loose my baby because he misdiagnosed appendicitis while pregnant. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
Very warm and personable. As a new patient to his office that was greatly appreciated.
His office is filthy! The floors are black, white doors are yellowish grey, tons of yearly collected dust on the equipment. Dr. Sconzo commented that it was normal for a busy office:0
I had not met this dr. However, I was in his office and was seeing by his coworkers. The staff is friendly. I am pregnant, the visit went fast. However! The offices were filthy! All the electronic equipment was dusty, the floors had dust in every corner, doors were dirty, the staff did not wash/sanize their hands before putting gloves on and making an exam! The gloves were taken by dirty hands, put on the counter, then put on then the exam was performed! Yuk!!!! I am disgusted! I wrote to Dr. Sconzo about the dust, he replied that it is normal to see in any busy officeð??³ May be, but not in ObGyn office!
He is the best doctor I have ever seen. I travel from NJ to see him. I did not give him 5 stars however due to the ridiculous wait time at his Yonkers Office. Regardless of your appointment time, be prepared to wait 2 hours.
He is kinda scary /intimidating imo. Sarcastic bedside manner- making you the bud of his joke.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
