I can count on Dr. Kimura when I need it most.
Enjoy being cared in Mountsinai
It was my first time to this in-network doctor. As is typical when I get my annual bloodwork, I asked for a Vitamin D lab and A1C. Doc refused to send my bloodwork to an in-network lab (their own preferred lab company, LabCorp, but the local office of Labcorp). Doctor explained that they're too busy and would only send it out of state as with all other patients. My insurance told me that this is unacceptable and violates the insurance provider's terms. Insurance spoke with the doctor's office and told me that she thinks they may need educational training since they're unusually slow and unfamiliar with basic policy. After being treated like their lackey and spending half a day on this, I hope I can spare would-be patients a similarly frustrating fate. My only bad doctor's appointment in my 47 years, and certainly my last visit to that office. I will spare you her comment that "you need the next covid booster," which sounds like medical malpractice worthy guidance.

I have been seeing Dr Kimura for years. She is an excellent doctor and very pleasant. Her staff is also very kind and friendly. I recommend Dr. Kimura and her staff.
She is candid and does not exaggerate the situation. Ultimately, she’s a doctor that makes you feel a little better by just seeing her.
SHE CAN SPEAK BOTH ENGLISH AND JAPANESE. GREAT DOCTOR.
Not helpful with getting to the root cause of problems nor in assisting the patient/family administratively.
She takes the time to explain your health care plan. She also talks to you about preventive care and the role you play in your overall health. ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
