Dr. Karmen’s care of my daughter’s post-Covid long haul symptoms was compassionate, thorough and incredibly helpful. She is an excellent, caring physician and my daughter is a healthy, happy young adult again.

She is top of the line physician. She cares for her patients and delivers the best care for them.

I did not want to leave a bad review for Dr Karmen, for the brief time I spoke with her she seemed very nice, my mother is her patient. This complaint concern's Dr. Karmen's office. I am filing a complaint with the appropriate regulatory agencies concerning Dr Karmen's office's behavior. I have been trying to get a specific form, and my mother's medical records, sent to my mother's attorney's office for two months. I have spoken with people who did not know how to read an email string, I have spoken with people who promised to send the forms out who have not, I have spoken to people who admitted my requests had been ignored and then promised to send forms out and then did not. My last call was to WMC Health Advanced Physician Services (the facility Dr Karmen works in) to ask to speak with their president's office. The first person I spoke with did not know who their own president/CEO was, who then forwarded me to "Michelle" (Dept of Medicine) who insulted and belittled me when I asked for the name of the president/CEO, and refused to give it to me. All calls I've had with Dr Karmen's office, and with WMC Health Advanced Physician Services, are recorded, and I will be asking the applicable regulatory agencies to review those phone calls to listen to the promises made to me, and the unprofessional and 'hostile' manner that Michelle spoke to me. If Michelle worked for me, she would be fired immediately for talking to any of my clients in the manner she spoke with me. Dr Karmen is a good doctor, I have no complains about her, but her office is a nightmare. I tried to resolve this problem by going up the ladder, and at this point I needed to contact the president's office, but nobody either knows who that person is, and/or will not let anyone with any problems contact them. Dr Karmen's office left me no other choice but to go to the appropriate regulatory agencies including the Office of Professional Medical Misconduct. I have 'never' encountered this type of ridiculously unprofessional behavior...anywhere, and the needed medical records are not being sent to where they need to go.

I am severely ill. Saw her and explained everything. She wasted my time when I am very sick and in pain. Told me to come in with my records for an appointment so that she can start tests. Had me waste time to come in, only to then refer me. She could have referred me last week and without making me come all the way in for an appointment when I am in pain. The lack of respect, care or consideration for patients time and pain is a testament for how money driven her practice, and so many, are. Her office also never sent out the authorizations they had me fill out.

Dr. Karmen is great! Unlike many doctors she actually cares and is very understanding. She is very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. Her staff is great as well. I feel so lucky to have found her.

I have been seeing Dr Karmen for about 20 years. She has always been incredibly professional, caring, and helpful with whatever I have needed. She has always taken whatever time was necessary to deal with the issue at hand. I have and will continue to recommend her to anyone I know.

Dr. Karmen has been taking care of my health concerns for 25-30 years with expertise and consideration. She listens and trusts what I report about my health problems.
