He saved my life twice when another Cardiologist said there was nothing wrong with my heart . Well a few heart attacks and 100% blockages , 3 stents later that doctor was wrong ! He is a very good Doctor ,thorough , kind and a pleasure to see .

On July 13 I had a catherterization done at Lawerence hospital. From the moment I walked in everyone treated me with an smile and courtesy. I had never met Dr. Monsen prior to July 13 and I was very nervous. I did not know what to expect. Before the procedure he came to my bed and explained the entire procedure to me and my wife. We asked several questions and he answered them all in detail. The procedure was totally painless and Dr. Monsen keep asking me how I felt during the procedure.

Dr Monsen was amazing. At just 40 years old I was very very nervous when I found out that I needed a cardio cath. I arrived at Columbia in NYC at 9am and I was called back within minutes of my arrival. Dr Monsen took time to meet with me and clearly explain the plan. He put me at ease and I am forever grateful for the level of care and the fact that Dr Monsen did a great job calmimg me down. Dr Monsen was kind and caring and I felt as if I was speaking to a friend in the prep room. Thank You
