I've recently seen Dr. Farris, and can't tell you how pleased I was with the whole experience as a new patient. From the minute you walk in and the minute you leave everyone was kind and welcoming. Dr. Farris was completely on point with everything and made me feel at ease. Staff was very accommodating. Will recommend to my family and friends.

Dr Farris treats me for dry eyes and has all the latest technology! I’ve had IPL treatments that successfully helped my condition be even offers esthetic services like facials and peels that help dry skin!! I have received wonderful expert care at HudsonValley Eye!

rude. rushed. judgemental. i think maybe he is good at his job but hard to tell when he isn't forthcoming with information, rushes when he speaks as if you should know what he knows, and is generally rude and condescending. his staff seems to like him. primarily b/c they like how he "tells it like it is".

I’ve Know Dr. Farris for many years. He is highly skilled at his profession. I find him to be effective, empathetic and very professional. I would recommend him to all my friends and family near and far.

Dr. Edmund Farris was my ophthalmologist. I asked him what to do to get rid of a collagen cyst in my eye. It sounded strange when he said it was just a fluid cyst and that he could do it. Made an appointment, he cut open the cyst, told me it was collagen and that he could do nothing. Referred me to another Doctor, but not before charging my insurance and cutting into my eye for no reason. My own regular Doctor had told me it was collagen. Needless to say, I'm not going back there. Shame on you and shame on me for trusting him!!!

Don’t know what some others are talking about. I have been a patient of Dr Farris for over 10 years. He is a compassionate, well trained physician who always does right for the patient. He has never tried to force a treatment but thoroughly explains all possible options. I trust him totally and respect him and his opinion. No other eye doctor has ever made me feel more comfortable. He has a pleasant and witty personality. Go see him. You will love him too.
