Sheldon Pike 's Online Review Report Card

Well,his receptionist is very rude and nasty, so I gave up on making an appointment. I was his patient years ago and wanted Dr. Pike for testicular surgery but I guess I will move on.

TO MY OPINION DR. SHELDON PIKE IS THE MUST PROFESSIONAL MD. IN NEW YORK AREA I WILL RECOMMEND DR. PIKE ANY TIME

Deprecating, demeaning and dismissive. Whatever expertise he may have is overshadowed by the above issues. Horrible experience.

I visited Dr. Sheldon Pike at 70-90 Austin St. 2nd FL, Forest Hills and paid the copay they asked and I left. After 2 weeks I got a letter stating "First Collection Attempt Letter" A collection letter for a payment past due which I wasn't even aware of to being with. I was shocked to see how careless these so called professionals are. Once they have your credentials they will open accounts on your behalf with any anywhere and you will only know about it when you get a collection letter from them

This guy should not be a doctor! I saw him one too many times, he is very rude and hasty. He does not spend time with the patient to answer questions and help with any health concerns. He does not even listen when you ask him questions, he simply talks into his mic to write his notes and does not even bother to acknowledge you, as the main concern (Patient). I have chronic issues that keep coming ...

Warning, do not use Dr. Pike. His office staff is terribly rude and he consistently cancels your appointments. Also, you have to wait for over an hour to see him or his rude assistant.

I suggest if you value your time, you should never visit this Dr. or his office. I made an appointment a few weeks ago, and his office called and tried to reschedule with me twice. After the 3rd time that I made it to his office with a 4 pm appointment, I was kept waiting until finally at 5:30 pm, I gave up and went home. After I started complaining to the office manager, she had nothing to say but "I understand". What kind of answer is that? All the other patients that were waiting said all the same thing that they always wait over an hour to see him. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This kind of behavior by a professional, is unacceptable.

I made an appointment with this Doctor and I tell you it was the worst experience. He was very rude and rough and has no bedside manners. He is a urologist and he performed a procedure on me that left me in pain for days and then I ended up with an infection. I would not recommend him to anyone unless they want to be mistreated. He's really not even the one star but I had to make a rating.

I was recommended to this urologist last year when I found out I had a kidney stone. I ALWAYS end up waiting 45 minutes to an hour over my scheduled appointment time. Why schedule a patient for a specific time if that time is not honored? I am currently writing this review from inside the procedure room. My appointment was at 4:15. I've been waiting in this room for almost 30 minutes now. Beyond ridiculous.

I went to his Hewlett office and was totally disappointed. How I was going to pay for the visit was more important than the reason for my visit.
