The Smilist Dental Hicksville's Online Review Report Card

I was was up all last night with soul-crushing pain, went to the Smilist today, got an accurate diagnosis, which another dentist missed last week. The front-desk person went above and beyond to get me a root canal appointment for today. The pain is gone, and I couldn't be more grateful. Anyone should feel confident going here.

Dr. MCGunnigle and Dr. Raza are experienced and friendly. I am contend with their expert service and I will recommend the Smilist to all of my friends and family. I wish them a successful future in the business.

The office was pleasant from the front office, to the Drs and the assistants. Very clean and put my mind at ease about my visit.

Finally took the time out to schedule my cleaning after longer than I’d like to admit. Honestly I was so nervous walking into the office but the staff made the whole process so seamless that I was in and out and still had plenty of time before beginning my own workday. Dr. Ghatala has amazing bedside manner. I had been hesitant to make the trip to the dentist for the fear of what they may find, but she explained everything so thoroughly, all the while even making me comfortable with the thought of additional dental work if necessary. The hygienist, Reyna, who did my cleaning did an excellent and thorough job! And of course Yoselin at the front desk had all my information already prepared and in the system so I can just begin my appointment without any delay! Overall a lovely experience at the Smilist-Hicksville!

Extremely happy with the care and service! Took a chance with this dental office, because it was conveniently located right on North Broadway. And it definitely paid off. My kids (5 and 3yo) are usually not good in these situations, but the staff (specifically Dr. Ghatala and her assistant, Aleksandra) made the whole experience so entertaining for my kids, that they didn't even realize what was happening! All while providing me with dental assessments and recommendations, in a professional manner. Impressive!The facility is extremely clean and modern, with TV's in the offices (a must for children)Special shout out to Yoselin at the front desk, for helping me with the paper work while I'm juggling two small kids!

I would definitely recommend this place! Both my husband and I had 4 visits here over the last month and are both very happy. The staff is super friendly, kind. We didn’t have to wait for our appt. The dentist was great, friendly, kind, knowledgeable and took his time with you. He communicated with you what he was doing. The office is clean. Easy to get an appt.

If you’re in the Nassau area, I’d absolutely recommend The Smilist Dental! I loved how clean the office was and most importantly the wait time was short. Staff was friendly and transparent when it came to diagnosis and estimated cost(s). Most definitely would recommend you giving them a visit!

Just had my first visit with Dr. Mcgunnigle, he was patient and thorough. Cannot rave enough about how satisfied I am with the visit. I had a lot of pending work to be done, and he jumped right into it. During the whole visit he made sure I was aware of everything he was doing, carefully explaining the process. I am usually a nervous wreck with dental visits because of how sensitive my teeth are, however I can honestly say I left at ease. The hygienist was extremely gentle knowing I was super nervous, and the receptionist was very thorough with billing information. There was no wait time and facility was clean. 5 Stars.

I referred my friend to this location, there are many locations but this was our first time at this one, I must say the office looks clean, tidy and modern. Everything was amazing! The doctor was kind, knowledgeable and caring. The girl in the front was very helpful in explaining plans, and any questions I had. I will continue to refer to this office.. I hope nothing changes.
