Doctor Martinez is that rare doctor who actually takes the time to listen to your concerns and pays attention. She even made my mother comfortable so I finally have a doctor my mother is willing to see. Since mom refused to see any doctor for anything other than I life or death emergency for over a decade this is big here. Dr Martinez listened to mom and didn't talk down to her or push treatments and medication mom didn't want.

I have been a patient of Dr. Martinez for several years and appreciate the care she has provided to me. She is very personable. She asks questions and listens intently to what you're thinking and feeling about your health and/or health problems and provides treatment accordingly. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Martinez is a caring, and compassionate Doctor. I used to see Nilsa when she worked at EFM in Brockport. She was the doctor on-call one weekend and my daughter was in a lot of pain from her ear. Nilsa told us to come right to the office on a Sunday and she examined my daughter. She went out of her way for me and you don’t find Doctors like that anymore!

Dr. Martinez is as knowledgeable as she is personable. Highly recommend!

Dr Martinez is an excellent provider who not only takes her time with her patients but cares and understands them.

The same exact thing happened to my family. Dr. Martinez mixed incorrect medications instead of referring me to a specialist. I became very, very ill and had to rush to the emergency room at Strong Hospital. When I finally went to a specialist, they were Peed-off, to say it nicely that she took it upon herself to prescribe several medications that didn't work together instead of sending me to a specialist who knows what they are doing. Also, I found after years of going to her, that she really isn't listening to what you are saying. She seems to be, but isn't really uncovering the true issues and just likes talking and talking and talking. I am disgusted by this doctor and my family and I couldn't be happier with the new practice we are going to.

I have had MANY bad experiences with this doctor and am finally able to get a new one. She never seems to have any clue what she's talking about. Rather than send me to a specialist to find out what's wrong she just mixes medications on a whim. She has incorrectly prescribed psychiatric medicines to my family members in the past and refuses to send them to a specialist because she feels she has it under control. Yet we're the ones dealing with her bad judgment. To get a prescription refilled you have to call and give them reminders. I've actually had them call me to ask what dose I'm prescribed so that they know what to tell the pharmacist. That was the last straw for me. I'm very happy with my new doctors and everything seems to be resolving itself under my new care. Best of luck to you if you decide to chance this office.

She is a very comapssionate doctor and is easy to talk to. She is very intelligent and is willing to refer pts to specialists if she cannot dx a problem.
