My obgyn was no longer seeing his pregnant patients and AMS was one of the practices they recommended. I called and scheduled an appointment as I was 31 weeks for my first visit with Dr. Nicholson, the staff set me up with him. My first appointment was very disappointing. I was previously scheduled for a c-section on May 27th and was told by my previous doctor that he would still be doing my surgery and to call and let AMA know. I did call twice to inform the AMS staff and they told me I would have to talk to my doctor at my visit about it. At my visit with Dr. Nicholson everything was going well until I asked him if I was still scheduled for my c-section surgery on May 27th and of Dr. Surosky was still doing it because I was told that he would be doing the surgery. Dr. Nicholson’s whole demeanor changed and he told me I needed to call them and figure it out and call them back. He then got up and walked out the door saying nice to meet you. I Was not done asking questions.

Doctor Nicholson is a cold doctor. He comes into a room without so much as a word, and just looks at you expecting the patient to begin the appointment. There are no pleasantries with him. He does not come in asking how you feel. He has made many mistakes within appointments with myself and family members. He overlooked vital information regarding my baby, and instead diagnosed myself with a condition he isn't familiar with. Now baby is coming early! I do not recommend this doctor.

No gowns available for exam. Felt very uncomfortable. Too long a wait to be examined.

Only seen him once and that was too many times! RUDE! Not helpful in anyway! Hoping that he is NOT the one on call when I go into labor! Made us feel very uncomfortable the whole appointment! Had no care/concern for anything we had to say!

He didn't show any major concern for my problems and didn't put me on lift restrictions for work through the entire pregnacy. Said yoga would fix all my peoblems.
