Skillful, rapid response time
Dr Adam was my doctor. He left Pittsfield. He was the first Doctor to treat me like a real person and that my concerns were his concerns. A great Neurologist is hard to find.
This man did in 15s had me admitted to the stroke ward of BMC. every nurse, dr, all staff were amazing, skilled, sympathetic, attentive, happy, while working. Dr Adam proved via testing that i had multiple mini strokes, evry day for 4 mos. Brain damage both sides, severe memory loss. But im alive to tell it. 99% blockage. 1% saved my life, that n Dr Adam. Thnk you!
One of the best doctors I have ever seen. Very caring, listens to concerns, gives input and very thorough. If I call he calls the same day and when in the office he does not rush you. I highly recommend Dr. Adam.
The doc sat across the room and listened to my complaints and then did his assessment. I had a more intensive neuro work up in my pcp office. Despite my symptoms he did not order any scans but did make suggestions to help relieve my symptoms (chiropractor, massage, acupuncture ), which I do agree with; however, would be less nervous if he had done some scans prior to make sure no physical abnormalities existed. My apt was the first of the day and he was still 30 mins late, however he did not rush our visit.
What a nice doctor Dr. Adam is. Very kind manner and extremely "patient" with my emotional side with regards to Parkinsons Disease, etc. I would recommend him highly. As a matter of fact, I have relocated to Vermont and will continue to have him as my Doctor.
Spent a lot of time and was very caring
A robot would have a better bedside manner than this doctor. The staff and waiting room is great but my visit with this neurologist was my first and will be my last. I was shocked by his stiff and cold manner. He also chose to sit as far away from me as possible. I was transferred to this physician by the head of the neurology department only to be told that he could do nothing for me and that I should go else where to be treated for my symptoms. I have never written anything like this before but I was so offended that I do not want anyone to have to go through what I had to as it was very unpleasant and hard to schedule.
This boy decided to diagnose me with a serious disease. I did the prescreening and when I didn't test positive, he halted treatment without testing me for the serious diseases HE said I had. Clearly a new mother needs to know if she has a gentic disease and I had the right to tell him how I felt. Abusive boy became abusive and wrote in my medical file that I had verbally assaulted him. However, Abusive boy's superior's mentioned that he was a young boy out of medical school who pulled that diagnosis out of his current homework. I have since been diagnosed with the only disorder I asked this young boy to test me for. Be aware, this boy will use you as a guinea pig to study his areas of interest, and then he will prejudice your future doctors against you and work to prevent you from being treated seriously should you complain about his abuse.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
