List of Umesh Patel's Reviews
Very incompetent staff! Unacceptable service ! Wife has been prescribed a medicine and sent to pharmacy and after several (3) attempts of sending incorrect script, she had to call her primary physician to get someone to correct this situation and Dr Patel and staff only work 3 days in Hudson
Hate this place soooo much. Their receptionist is the worse. Heard her taking about to another person...they treat me like I'm not a person. I'll put it in God's hands before going back to them...
Dr. Patel is a knowledgeable and skilled rheumatologist who is thorough and helpful. His staff is also competent and friendly.
I’ve been seeing Rheumatologists for 20 years and this man was the least impressive medical “professional” I’ve seen in my life.
Dr Patel listened to all my concerns, had a good sense of humor. Reviewed all my history and seemed generally concerned. Really hoping he can get my pain under control.
very poor
Rude, terrible patient skills, was as tho he just didnt want me as a patient.
I dont like that when I call you have to leave your name and number for them to call you back. Why aren’t they answering phones at 330 pm.
I was not happy with the care I was receiving from dr Patel. I went there to see him for Lupus as a primary illness. I seen the dr 3 x and the 3rd x was horrendous I was having a really bad flare up which was so painful I walked in his office in tears. I went in the room and he was very cold and asked me why I was crying. I explained to the dr about the pain I was in and he looked at my bloodwork from the 1st visit which was 6 months prior and he tells me your Lupus isn’t that bad and then asked if I was ever tested for Lyme and I advised that he tested me during the 1st visit and he asked how many animals I had and when I told him. His response was very cold hearted and stated to me you can’t take care of yourself how can you take care of your animals. That was very unprofessional and very unnecessary. What bearing does that have for the Professional care that I was asking for and to have a dr listen to my concerns. I changed to another dr and had other autoimmune issues that arise.
Dr. Patel is great with his patients! On time and very polite.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
