The girls in the office are very warm and welcoming, there is no reason to be afraid to try chiropractic. I was referred to Dr. Banks by a friend and I am so thankful. His office is state of the art and wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. I came in crippled and now I walk out standing up and no longer need my cane. He makes you feel important and special and I am never rushed. All of my concerns are heard and addressed. His hands are like gold!

Best doctor in New York. One of the smartest people I have ever talked to and the Best functional medicine doctors. I can really tell he cares about his patients and is willing to do whatever to help them get back to feeling great.

I injured my back I was unable to work. The pain in my lower back was so severe that I couldn’t do the simplest things like climb stairs, tie my shoes, or even turn over in bed. I tried regular chiropractic treatment, which had helped me in the past. I also had Electric Stim, heat, massage, acupuncture, and even used pain killers but none of that helped. On the recommendation of a second chiropractor, I made an appointment with Dr. Banks at Disc Center of America in Huntington, NY. Dr. Banks ordered X-Rays and an MRI, and we found out that I had bulging discs, disc dehydration and disc height loss. Dr. Banks spent time with my wife and I and explained to us what was going on inside me. He noted that although I was a candidate for surgery (which involved reconstruction of the spine with a 50% success rate and at least one year recovery), he felt that he could help me. Dr. Banks showed us the decompression table, and various other apparatus, then explained the various tools of his trade that he would use to get my back feeling better. Since I was not interested in having surgery, we decided to see what Dr. Banks could do. I signed up for the 10-week plan and even extended a few times. He explained that this was not a quick fix but if I stayed on course, he was confident he could help me. The staff at his office is top notch! The office manager, Casey, took care of all the paperwork and documentation that I needed for work and insurance, and his assistant Christine’s encouragement and attention to detail in my treatment kept me from getting discouraged over the course of my treatment. The result is HE FIXED ME!!! I will be forever grateful to him and his staff for giving me back my quality of life and for helping me avoid serious back surgery. If you’re in pain and struggling, he’s the man to see. Thank you, Dr Banks. You and your team are the best!!!

I’ve been under Dr. Banks care for years. As I’ve aged I’ve had issues with back pain and now recently, sciatica and vertigo. Under his care I’ve been relived from these recent and even former issues with back pain. Thank you Dr. Banks!

I herniated a disc in my low back and could not walk. Dr Banks ordered a MRI and we did a 30 visit decompression plan for my L5 / S1 disc. I am now pain free and can play golf again. Recently I hurt my ankle and now after several sessions of the Summus Class 4 laser and the matrix I am walking better. Great office and super staff. Highly recommend this office for Functional Medicine, and any joint pain anywhere in the body.

I was in a car accident earlier this year and Dr. Banks and his wonderful staff have been helping me with my recovery from spinal fusion surgery. His tools including the Summus Medical Laser, Pro Adjuster and the electroanalgesic Matrix device which have been helpful in reducing my pain level. Please call them if you are in pain - I can't recommend his office highly enough!
