List of Jordan Skyer's Reviews
Dr. Skyer saw me as a walk-in client in discomfort at Huntington (Jericho Tpke) as a “covering” OD on a Friday at 430pm. Dr. Skyer took the time to address my treatment concerns, he was sincere in his remarks and evaluation and helped to alleviate my many concerns regarding my current complicated Ophthalmic treatment. Thank you Dr. Skyer.
The office areas as well as the examination rooms were super clean. The office staff and eye technicians were very friendly, and totally professional. Dr. Skyer knows his ophthalmology inside and out. He is very professional, through, patient, friendly and he explained everything to me . He also asked me if I had any questions.

Dr. Skyer was very professional, friendly, patient, and took his time to explain his findings. He knows ophthalmology inside and out. His exam was very through and he also asked me if I had any questions. I was very impressed.
DO NOT GO HERE. DESERVES LESS THAN ONE STAR. This doctor and office are TERRIBLE. THEY TRICK YOU into signing a form that charges you extra, beyond your co pay and the usual charges to have your eyes checked. And not just a little extra. $95 extra on top of $25 and $75, for a service that isn't needed. Insurance doesn't cover it. Then they tell you that you have no recourse because you signed the form.
If I could leave LESS than one star I would. This doctor and office aims to trick patients into signing form and paying more than they thought they would be. I received a surprise bill for $95. 00 beyond my co pay and refraction charge. They said I signed the form. I was TRICKED. Beware of this doctor and office. Don't go here.
Professional, competent sense of humor. Puts pt. at ease. .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
