Best orthopedic surgeon in town! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Dagly to any of my colleagues, family or friends, and I have many times! Anyone who I have sent to Dr Dagly has been extremely happy with his level of expertise and ability to articulate to the patient what the issue is. My son had to see Dr Dagly for his finger and he gave us his undivided attention while he identified what the issue was. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Dagly is truly an incredible doctor! On 2 different occasions I had to rely on his expertise and his calming words. He treated both my children with the upmost respect, patience, understanding and tenderness. Words could never express my gratitude for his talent and his teams passion to help. Avoiding surgery was my primary goal which Dr. Dagly was able to do. There is no doubt that if it was in another doctors hands, surgery would have been the end result. He did not give up! Dr. Dagly came to the hospital to help when he was already off shift. His top notch skill is like no other. He is able to calm and reassure in a stressful situation. From the moment you walk thru the door you are greeted by a team that cares about what they do. Dr. Dagly and his team are incredibly talented. A true specialist!

I had a massive traumatic hand injury where two of my tendons were severed. Dr. Dagly did my surgery and the outcome was better than anyone could’ve hoped for. I now have nearly full movement and sensation back in my hand. I am a professional violinist and 6 months post-operation I am back playing regularly again. His bedside manner was wonderful as I was very emotional through this time. I’ve already recommended Dr. Dagly to several friends and I could not recommend him enough.

Dr. Dagly went above and beyond coming to a hospital he is not currently at, but has Privileges to work at, to perform surgery on an infected finger joint which was very bad. Several calls were made to find a hand surgeon to do the surgery but none in the hospital where I was a patient wanted to or were available. Other hospitals in the area were too full to accept a transfer patient. He not only came within hours of getting the call and reviewing the case and seeing pictures , but he did so in a caring and compassionate manner. In all of my dealings with him he is competent, professional, kind and explains everything thoroughly. I would not hesitate to refer a family member or friend to him. It was unsettling for me as a patient to be in a hospital for 9 days and on an IV for 6 weeks after coming home. He was the person I had complete confidence in once he took the case!

Would I recommend dr. Kamal Dagly to you? My name is Sister Pia, and I am a Benedictine Nun who had a great privilege to meet Dr. Kamal Dagly when I was about to lose my left hand due to severe entrapment of the ulnar nerve in my elbow. At that time, I didn’t have much strength left in my hand. I couldn’t use the keyboard anymore which disallowed me to work, nor could I hold anything in my hand. I have to add that I’m a short statured person (3’6”) with challenging body structure, including my arms. I remember the first visit with Dr. Dagly, how fast he diagnosed my problem, and how compassionately he looked into my sad eyes saying ‘that he wanted to help me, to save my hand’ despite knowing the fact that it wouldn’t be easy to deal with my medical insurance. Doctor Dagly speedily undertook the challenge and soon performed a very successful surgery that consisted of: the decompression and transposition of an ulnar nerve. After surgery doctor Dagly reported that the surgery went well, however that the nerve was so severely damaged that it needs a long time to regenerate. I recuperated very well under Doctor Dagly’s gentle care, and my poor nerve regenerated sooner than we thought it would. Today, I praise and thank the Lord for putting Dr. Dagly on my life’s path, because with his unique knowledge, and an outstanding surgical skill he was able to save my hand. Through God’s grace Doctor Dagly brought a complete healing, a new life if you will, to my hand, but also hope and comfort to me at the time when I needed it most! And so, he does for all his patients, who come to him overburdened with pain. (I met some of them.) And so, my answer to you is: YES! - I would strongly recommend Dr. Kamal Dagly to all who experience any arm problems. May God reward him abundantly for all he does to help his patients. I will never cease praying for him in thanksgiving and that he may continue to bring healing to many. May God bless him and all his staff and patients.
