List of Loren E. Rosenthal's Reviews
Extremely rude on the phone. They should really get a better receptionist!
I saw this doctor a couple of times several years ago and do NOT recommend him. He wanted me to do test after test. I'd understand if they were new tests but I came to him with recent test results I'd recently done within a few months. My plan isn't the best and I couldn't pay the co-pays again. The last straw was when I found that my 9-11 fund would pay for my sleep apnea test and he told me to find another doctor then. This doctor also prescribed drugs I didn't think I needed but wouldn't renew his prescriptions after he told me to find another Dr. I knew he was supposed to give me 30 days to find a new Dr but he was so rude and arrogant, I felt I'd better leave or I'd say something I'd regret. The only person with less patient skills than the doctor was his even ruder assistant. I must assume that he hires people with even less people skills to make himself look better. But it's not working, not at all.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I spent years in pain because of Dr. Rosenthal. I told him I thought I had Cluster Headaches, and he said “What are you, crazy? You get migraines. Plain and simple,” and put me on Maxalt and the supplement Butterbur, which did nothing to help me. My nurse once called him in the middle of one of my attacks to ask what she should do - I was right there, and I will never forget the way he talked down to her. Two and a half years later, I went to get a second opinion on a whim, and was immediately diagnosed with Cluster after describing my symptoms, and was able to get the help I needed. I’m not saying that I “knew better” that him - at the end of the day I am still the patient. But the man blatantly ignored my description of my symptoms and my cries for help. I never went back to Loren Rosenthal and I NEVER will - I suggest you do the same.

Mr Rosenthal treated my best friend for seizure disorder. He completely misdiagnosed her.She has Gluten Ataxia related to her Celiac Disease. He gave her so many meds. for seizures she was throwing up from them and couldn't hold anything down. When I questioned him about this.He got very indignant and started screaming at both of us.He screamed and I quote",WHAT DO YOU THINK THESE MEDS. ARE? THEY ARE POISONS!" He literally threw us out of his office. When we left there we saw people in wheel chairs and in various states of disrepair. We told them to leave there if they cared anything about their loved ones lives. This was a very long time ago.Over 35 yrs ago. I will keep the patients name anonymous. She feels very fortunate to have left there. He has no bed side manner. The reason why I am posting this is because now he treats Gluten Ataxia...Sorry,How funny is that..
Whenever I get frustrated because of my unstable business I used the relaxation technique that I learned from Dr. Loren in our sessions. And it really worked out. It helps me keep relax my mind and live a stress-free life. Thanks to Dr. Loren, now I can control my emotion and feeling as well.
Dr.Loren is the perfect example of what a healthcare provider should be like. Aside from his great medical skills, Dr. Loren also has a stellar bedside manner. He is very funny and always puts me at ease.
Whenever I met Dr. Loren, I've always left feeling positive. I've been seeing him for over a years. I have noticed the significant improvement in my health. I highly recommend him to all my family and friends!
After my neurological attack, I have consulted a couple of neurologists. He wonderfully deals with my situation. He treats me with utmost care. Dr. Loren has always been my neurologist. He is the only neurologist I want to see. His office staff has always treated me with respect and help

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
