This is the best place in Ithaca if any of your family needs health care. My mom really likes it here and the entire staff is friendly, caring and very attentive to needs of your loved one. I thank everybody here for their dedication to the well-being of my mom. Thank you.

Never before have I experienced such compassionate caregiving from the nursing staff to the rehab department to housekeeping. My mother is the happiest she's been in years. Thank you for the quality care Beechtree.

Was very pleased with the care given to patients.staff and nurses are very friendly and treat patients with the decency of a voice whether they are laughing, remembering a time, having a bad time, or a terrible time and crying. Thank you to Beech Tree for being that place

Beechtree has consistently been at the top of my list for Nursing and Rehabilitation patients. My husband was admitted to Beechtree backin May, 2021. This was a hard decision (it always is). He has LewyBody Dementia and Parkinson's and is 90 years old. I'm a retired nurseand took care of him at home for about 1 1/2 years - his diseases tookover a little bit each day until I could no longer care for him in a safeway. Initially my intent was to place him at Beechtree for a couple ofweeks so I could get some respite time, but then I became ill and wasadvised that I could not totally care for him in the home setting. Thiswas a tremendous setback but soon realized the need for this change.In spite of the Covid regulations this institution pulled out all the 'stops'and figured out how to maintain the 'patient to family' need and stillkeep everyone safe. They established a time and day wherein familiescould 'visit' with their loved ones on IPad....and they were punctual andvery caring each and every time. Now we're able to finally visit with each other in person and that's the best way, especially with dementia patients.As another example of the caring at this place before visits were allowed, one evening my husband was every sad and the nurse took it upon herself to call me at home so I could talk with him and possibly lift his spirts(!) I spoke with him for about 30-40 minutes and he was laughingby the end of the call(!). I felt so honored to have her call me and beable to bring some sunshine into his heart.....I was still part of his care.The office staff was (and is) fantastic....walked me wonderfully thru all the needed paperwork and explained all the paperwork I received at home! Working in a Nursing Home is not for wimps! But I have to alsocommend the leaders at the top. This is where attitudes, caring, safety,and respect filter down from. You are doing a great job and I'm happyto have my husband in such a place! Thank you all!!

When my mother was here I would say the only way the staff could work faster is if they wore roller blades.
