PREPARE TO SPEND AN ARM AND A LEG! I went into Cayuga Dermatology for my annual skin cancer screening and had a few small area frozen off and two small biopsies that the Dr told me were Basil Cell Carcinomas but ended up being benign. What was NOT BENIGN was the bill I got hit with after insurance: Over $900 had to be paid by me after insurance from this simple, annual screening. The staff was friendly and the doctor seemed knowledgeable except for her confidence that I had two cancerous areas when I did not ... Looking over the bill it seems to be that this outfit is clearly UP-CHARGING for their services in excess of what insurance will pay. Unfortunately there are business in our community taking advantage of people up front like this, not sharing procedure costs until AFTER THE FACT when the bill is sent. What a disappointment that Cayuga Dermatology does business in this extractive way.

In an area with a frustrating shortage of providers and a too-easily-found customer service/customer interaction model that leaves a lot to be desired, this practice stands out for both its high level of expertise and high level or patient-centered communication, process, and interaction. The whole team here - from docs to office staff - make you feel welcome and well cared for. Highest recommendation.

I am a chronically ill person who has been in and out of a LOT of doctor's offices, and this is one of the best. The facility is beautiful and clean with lots of natural light. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Dr. Garner herself is direct and efficient in her evaluations, alleviating any awkwardness that might come from nudity in front of a new doctor, and delivers diagnoses without judgment or criticism. She is compassionate and kind and has offered me solutions to several problems I believed I would just have to live with indefinitely, helping to minimize the discomfort that comes along with my chronic conditions and treatments. All in all, this office and Dr. Garner specifically should be commended for their exceedingly high standard of care. Also, make sure you arrive promptly for your appointments! Dr. Garner will be on time, so you should be, too!

Dr. Garner is warm, thorough, explains things clearly. Her staff are also friendly and supportive. Hard to imagine anyone not liking this office! It is absolutely pristine and COVID policies clear and easy to follow.

Dr Garner is a thorough and skilled dermatologist. Her practice space is spotless , runs smoothly, and their safety measures for COVID put me at ease. I felt reassured by her careful and clear explanation of her thinking and recommendations. Highly recommended!
