List of Cayuga Orthopedics's Reviews
Couldn't be happier with the care I receive from Dr. Debuck.
Excellent medical provider office staffed by very caring and responsive top caliber surgeons. Dr. Ben Donohue was amazing with our injured son who required emergency surgery to repair a severely fractured leg. We received amazing support bedside at the hospital and at follow up appointments at the doctor's office @ Cayuga Orthopedics. Thank you for caring for our son and putting our minds at ease during this difficult and trying time.
Great experience for a first time visit! From check in to check out! All the staff was welcoming and efficient. Highly recommend.
You can tell their staff really cares. Their doctors are top notch. They helped me make decisions that I was against initially but turned out to be the best thing for me.
I don’t normally leave bad reviews but I’m not a happy patient right now. It’s taken this office 6 full days to simply have the ortho SIGN off on an insurance authorization form to even get an essential MRI!!! This was after waiting an entire week to even be seen after an ER visit when I was referred for a torn MCL. This to me feels like negligent behavior when it comes to working with people with serious injuries, and is very much due to poor staff procedure management. While the ortho herself was super friendly and knowledgeable and I loved her, your patients shouldn’t have to wait two weeks plus for a proper diagnosis on a major injury!!! Get it together y’all!
I had knee surgery with Dr. Blake. Surgery was excellent , quick recovery but it is almost impossible to call and make appointments, wait time is more than 30 minutes on many occasions. Also post surgery info could be better with a clear number to call in case of questions.
I am very surprised and dismayed by all of the negative comments about this practice. I have been a patient for many years, and have had all 4 major joints replaced. I have never had a wait longer than a few minutes, the PA's have been attentive and Dr. Blake is a miracle worker, IMHO. I have also seen Dr. DeBuck and Dr, Macaulay, and those visits were very positive. Recently, I had an appointment with a very competent PA to get an epidural steroid injection in my arthritic shoulder and it couldn't have been easier or more pleasant. Please trust this wonderful orthopedic group.
Sat in exam room for an hour or so before we even seen the doctor. Can’t even say it was because of being short staffed as he is the only one we need to see. They need to not schedule appointments so close together.
I had a total hip replacement at the end of January by Dr. Blake and my recovery has been much easier than I expected. Although the practice is very busy and you don’t get to spend a lot of time with the doctor she has an excellent staff and I always get all my questions answered, and I get in and out in a prompt manner. I would very much recommend her if you need a hip replacement.
They are clearly a very busy and possibly short staffed office (like every other health care provider right now) but everyone was very friendly with me and treated me with respect. I liked that the doctor was very thorough, attentive and did not make me feel like she was in a rush. I felt like they actually cared about my health and well-being. I mentioned that I was a student taking finals and they all took the time to wish me luck on exams. It’s the little things like that that made my visit a positive one

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
