Ithaca Urology's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Vohra has given me excellent care whenever needed. One example: Seeing I was in discomfort, he ordered a nurse to give me more pain killer in the hospital when waiting for a kidney stone removal.

If I could give zero I would. Dr. Vohra was awful and yelled and kicked out my grandfather and mother after they asked what was taking so long.

I moved out of Ithaca about a year ago and found a new urologist in my new city. It absolutely confirmed my suspicions that these are two minor league doctors who have not kept up with medical science and methods and, thus, have a narrow frame of reference and limited diagnostic options. That leads to pushing unnecessary and invasive procedures in the name of their version of science. But the science is old and incomplete. Worse, they are not open, and sometimes even hostile, to challenging questions.

I have seen both Dr Husseini and Dr Vorah and was disappointed to see just a low review rating because my experiences with them have always been positive (outside of my reason for needing to see them, obviously)

Dr. Vohra does not care about his patients and only cares about money. My husband has been seeing him for almost a year now but his state has not improved. The prescribed medication has not aided him at all and whenever we asked for a different prescription, Dr. Vorah would decline and call my husband back for more tests. As a result, my husband has wasted almost a years worth of time with multiple visits, useless prescriptions, and high medical bills that show no proof of assistance with my husband’s health. Tow days ago(3/8/22), I called his office and pleaded for a new prescription for my husband, who still is not feeling better. We were yet again asked to come back for more testing by Dr. Vorah and his assistant, Bobby Jo. We requested to first get a new prescription and come back for more testing to see how my husband’s health improved. Bobby Jo seemed to understand our qualms and promised to call me back after consulting with Dr. Vorah. However, she didn't call me back and required me to reach out again, only to be informed that Dr. Vorah would not provide a new prescription until we paid our remaining balance. While my husband and I would be more than happy to pay the remaining balance, we had already been in contact with the billing department in regards to the bills for testing that had not proved beneficial. We had been advised that the amounts would be adjusted by Doug in billing, but were pending follow up internally with his superior, Jackie. This was several months ago. I have followed up with the Billing team in regards to the matter on several occasions and was assured that the issue would be resolved but have not heard any follow up unless I sought it out first. The issue still remains unresolved, so finally I paid in full this morning. One thing ridiculous happened yesterday(3/9/2022) was that Jackie told me Dr. Vorah suggested that give us 30% discount of the remaining balance, then offered another follow up testing right away without additional cost(except insurance coverage)before he give my husband a new prescription, however he reversed back that suggestion of this discount offer and the favorable test very next day(3/10/2022). I felt so funny to see that Dr. Vorah was doing like this to his patient in suffering discomfortess, with his assistants Jackie, Bobby Jo, Andrea and his nurse Tammy. This morning, all the assistants declined my phone calls more than 10 times, and they just hung up. Once I asked for the prescription after I paid my balance in full, Dr. Vorah refused it again, even he said he would give it if I clear the balance on the day before yesterday(3/8/2022). I can't believe why he keeps changing his words and treats like this to his patient? I was begging him for the new prescription medication for my husband because I worried about my husband's condition. I don't think Dr. Vorah is a real doctor, he doesn't care about his patient 's condition at all. He declined my husband 's request of the new prescription since my husband's second visit! It was July 2021! To be informed that the remaining balance that was supposed to be resolved so long ago(last October, 2021)is restricting my husband from proper treatment is horrible. My husband and I have been patient and invested so much time and energy to seek out a resolution as it was not provided. We just want to see my husband’s health improved but this has still yet to be provided. We do not want to see him anymore.

WARNING!!!!! Dr. Vohra told my spouse that what was wrong with him was " bizarre" and " impossible" followed by a scolding and a random appointment no doubt to keep more money coming in. We'll be seeing other doctors.

I have been seen by both doctors, and had multiple surgeries with them. They are so compassionate and caring, professional and I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Sanjeev Vohra is my primary urologist but I have also had Dr. Sammi Huessni when Dr. Vohra has been unavailable. They are both the absolute best! I have had chronic kidney stones and many emergency visits. They always get me in and take care of me immediately. To bad more doctors in this town don't follow their practice of patients first! The are excellent doctors and extremely caring people. Their staff is amazing too! I have been a patient for over 20 years and would never consider going any where else.

Negligent. Prescribe antibiotics without investigating and make you wait in inside unsafe conditions for hours for a simple apppintment.
