List of Body Works Physical And Aqua Therapy's Reviews
I love this place the therapist there a very nice and knowledgeable. Your care is their top priority. With me in the middle of treatment we add and take away exercises to focus on one goal at a time . The shower for the pool is private and clean . And big enough for medical devices. The pool is always clean and warm . Even when im in alot of pain I feel like the staff cares like family, and adjust your treatment. They listen to you and make you feel like your being heard
BodyWorks is a great PT place. The staff are very nice and take time to listen to whats going on. They are easygoing and work with you to get the best outcome possible. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.
Body Works Physical Therapy has honestly been a lifesaver for me. I have been to several PT offices over the years and none compare to the level of care here. I have worked with Mark, Danielle, and Lisa for about a year and a half, and I am now in the best physical shape I have been in. More importantly, I finally understand my body and what it needs. The aquatherapy even helped identify and improve issues I did not realize were contributing to my pain, and the land therapy has steadily improved my strength and balance. You never feel rushed or like just another patient. They truly care about your progress and take the time to make sure you are improving, not just going through exercises. They have also been incredibly flexible and accommodating with scheduling whenever I have needed to adjust appointments, which has made staying consistent with treatment so much easier. I cannot recommend them enough.
Take my rating seriously. I’ve had knee surgeries, and sports injuries since I was 15 years old. I’ve been to PT more times than anyone I know. I’ve had horrible experience with UHS in Endicott that resulted in me having to have another surgery to fix the mistakes made by therapist. I recently went to the new Lords PT located in the oak dale mall and the therapist told me she didn’t know how to help me, she would work one side of my back and the other side would become a problem and back n fourth it went. So I decided to try Body. Every therapist there was wonderful and considerate and kind. The owner (Lisa) is a well informed woman who is passionate about helping people. It’s not just a pay check to her. They never gave up on me and found many ways to help me and taught me how to self care at home correctly. I don’t ever leave reviews unless it’s horrible or worthy of recognition. Doesn’t matter what your issue is, you would be a fool to trust your physical therapy anywhere else. I’m more grateful for them than they could ever imagine and no one has ever come close to their level of expertise and care for their clients.
This is the first PT I've gone to where I get significant results every time I go. Lisa and Chris are dedicated to getting you better and don't just leave you to do your circuit and then go home. I can actually feel improvement every single time I go. Absolutely LOVE Body Works!
Very knowledgeable and friendly. I've done a lot of physical therapy and this is my favorite place by far.
I showed up to my appointment a half an hour early and filled out the initial paperwork within that time. After the paperwork was completed and turned in I had to wait 16 minutes after my appointed time. When I met Lisa she was very abrupt with me and acted very bizarre and not very welcoming. I had initially told body works / Lisa that I was in a wheelchair. When she met me and I had stated I was in a wheelchair, she asked me how did I transfer out of the chair normally I told her I use a sit to stand in my home and I had brought my aid with me to help if I needed assistance out of this chair during my appointment. She stated in a very abrupt manner,.. what is a sit to stand., as she stood in front of me intimidatingly. Although her manner was abrupt I followed her into her gym and she proceeded to ask me questions in a very clipped manner, I began to feel uncomfortable. She continued to ask me questions about my condition and I patiently responded, at one point she needed to go get her stand and stool that I assume she normally uses. While she was gone I made myself comfortable by one of her mats in the gym. When she came back she seemed unnerved that I had apparently sat in the spot that she normally inhabits. I quickly stated that I could move but she emphatically stated back to me no that's not necessary as she continued to look unnerved. I simply moved and she quickly took the spot that I had been in. And appeared to be more comfortable at that time,.. but she continued to question me about the sit the stand that I had mentioned. I was at that point becoming very uncomfortable but wanted to have a good experience from my initial therapy with body works. We eventually or I should say she eventually pulled up on her laptop what I said the stand was and proceeded to say, nice you have one of these. She even stated the amount at the time,.. since she was so curious about it I offered to bring it in for my sessions and she said how would you be able to do that and I stated that I had a wheelchair van that would be able to bring it. She proceeded to say wow that's very nice for you. At this time I'm not quite sure where all of this was leading. During part of our conversation she asked me if my legs moved and I stated that they did not and she bizarrely said to me that you really can't move your legs. I can go on but I'm not really sure what her problem was but eventually I asked if they was anyone else that I could work with and she stated yes.. which I intern said that would probably be a good idea. A young lady came out from the back her behavior was appropriate and she seemed to have a better demeanor then Lisa whom had told me that she was the owner. No matter what it seemed I was going to have to be evaluated by Lisa initially by this time I was over it. I wasn't feeling very welcomed and I promptly told Lisa that it probably was not going to be a good fit. I recently had abdominal surgery June 6th of this year and I have been looking forward to going to body works. I was looking forward to strengthening my muscles after the surgery. I don't know if Lisa was off put by me being disabled in a wheelchair and my limbs not working to full capacity., but I know that I wasn't made to feel comfortable and welcomed. I will say the receptionist that greeted us was nice before I met the owner.
The staff is great and friendly environment.

I had done physical therapy in several places. This was the best place I've ever been to. The aqua therapy really made a huge difference. And the people were always fantastic. It's been a while but thank you everybody.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
