I went to the Medrite Urgent Care, 3 weeks ago for a foot splinter. I was seen and released by Dr. Henderson. I felt very rushed by her and her assistant (who was not friendly at all). Dr. Henderson, claimed she had taken out my whole splinter from my foot, but she did not and today I had to go and see a surgeon for the rest of it to be removed. Thus, costing me more money and severe pain for the past 3 weeks, hard to even walk. She said she was going to give me a prescription for the foot pain, but disappeared after she removed some of the splinter and I never seen her again. She did not say bye or follow through with the procedure she had just done on me. I was confused as to why she took off so quick and moved on to the her next patient. People please be aware of going to Medrite Urgent cares in New York and of course of this Doctor. I would definitely recommend seeing your family physician first, if possible.

I had an injury two weeks ago and thought I had broken bones when I went in to see Dr. Kimberly Henderson.It turned out not be be a broken bone but was still in severe pain and she only gave me 1 weeks worth of pain medication.I am still in quite a bit of pain so I called her twice and left very detailed messages-she never called me back.I had to call again for the third time and after being on hold for 10 minutes, she came on the line knowing who I was and the situation, but instead answered me with "This is Dr. Henderson, can I help you?" She never inquired about my injury nor did she apologize for not ever returning my calls. When I asked for a refill she said I had to come in and told her I couldn't afford the co-pay, her response was "Sorry, this is office policy." She is obviously a doctor that has no concern or empathy for her patients.
