I’ve lived in Albany area for over 10 years and have yet to find a doctor who is half as good as Dr Sheran. Old school- knows your name, your medical history, and you as a person without having to log in to “refresh” his/her memory. Didn’t realize how special he was until I left the area. If you live in Ulster county area do yourself a favor and find out if he is accepting new patients.

Dr . Sheran became my doctor when I was being diagnosed with crohn's disease I was in the hospital with a bad infection sepsis and he helped me through that and I'm so grateful for Dr Sheran he's so kind and patient listens to you doesn't like hurry up.he takes the time to listen and actually cares which is rare in a doctor . doctors are overbooked and sometimes they take on too many patients and then they they lose that compassion for their patients but not Dr. Sheran. I'm so blessed to have him as a doctor.👍🏻👍🏻

Dr. Sheran is a thorough and has a lot of experience. He's a good listener and is professional and responsive. He also takes a cautious, balanced approach. The MAHV office staff is also excellent at following up and completing tasks.

Dr. Sheran is awesome. He goes above and beyond to meet his patients' needs. He's extremely knowledgeable, caring and if you need to be seen right away, he fits you into his schedule.

Dr. Sheran was my PCP for many years. He basically NEVER listened to me. Lab numbers and tests like EKGs etc. were all he paid attention to. I began describing what, unbeknownst to me, were TEXTBOOK symptoms of episodes Atrial Fibrillation to him in the early 2000s. he never paid the scantest attention until a decade later, when he finally saw it on an EKG and freaked out to the extent that he basically terrified me. By that time it had become permanent, with no chance for reversion, or even ablation. He is a personable guy - but HE DID NOT LISTEN, and gave very little of his time - he'd breeze in, look at lab results or other tests, 'listen' without paying me, the patient, the person experiencing their own body, the slightest credence, and breeze out. It felt like fast food medicine, and I was a fool to stay for so long.

Dr Sheran is kind, compassionate and caring. He is the best Dr I have ever had. He’s encouraging and always knows what the diagnosis is without guessing games. He takes his patients care seriously as a professional dr should and makes you feel comfortable in any situation. I highly recommend Dr Sheran, he goes above and beyond !!!!! HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST
