List of Scott Costley's Reviews
I had to wait 6 months for an appointment and then 3 weeks before, he decides he’s no longer seeing new patients. I understand that he wants to change his policy. However, he should do it after fulfilling his commitments to those already making appointments.
Dr. Costley is a great doctor. He is caring and kind. He has been my doctor for many years. He is very knowledgeable and I have followed him to 2 different practices and 3 different locations! I would not consider ever leaving his care ! I want to thank him for the great care he has given me over the years !
Dr. Costley listens and takes the time to understand patients' needs--treats patients with respect. He explains everything thoroughly and answers questions. The best doctor ever.
Been following Dr Costley for about 20 yrs....we love love love his attentiveness, understanding & awareness to details
After waiting almost 90 minutes for an appointment, Dr. Costley spent about 15 minutes with me - rapidly going through the same questions that I had already answered on the office questionnaire and by a nurse. Costley was in such a rush, he never washed his hands. Neither did his nurse. Patients were allowed to hangout without masks in the reception area. Costley was extremely condescending. He spent more time talking up a specific specialist within his group practice that he wanted to refer me to, than examining me. I told him I would make my own decision after researching doctors in the area myself. Instead, I got a cold call from that specialist's office 5 days later to make an app't., because Costley had referred me to them, despite what we discussed during my visit. He is arrogant and unprofessional.
I felt unsafe at this location; the administration didn't enforce masking and social distancing. The nurse was lovely, but wore a mask that bulged out at the cheeks so it was basically useless. I also sat around in an unventilated room for over 90 minutes, to receive approximate 20 minutes w/ a nurse and physician. Local non-medical businesses are better at enforcing health protocols.
He is a kind, caring and passionate physician who takes time with his patients. He listens and makes you feel comfortable discussing issues. He is nit afraid to refer to specialists and offers telemedicine appointments, if requested. I am so thankful to have him as my GP.
The best primary care physician I've ever seen. Super professional, super attentive and the Office was excellent.
As a Retired Paramedic Director and Hospital Administrator.. I have yet to meet a finer Family Physician. His depth of knowledge and caring for your concerns is evident in every word spoken. Never rushed. He has guided me to improve diet and life style in true concern for long term quality of life. Healthy as a horse now...but it's good to have a man in the paddock.
This is the first time I don’t feel like I’m being “scolded” by my doctor. He is knowledgeable, actually takes the time to talk to you, and very friendly. His staff has been a hit/miss situation but could’ve just been a bad day for them. Regardless, I’m very happy to have Dr.Costley as my primary. Reputation is very well deserved!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
