My husband is like a new man after his spine surgery! Thank you Dr. Vaynman & Dr. Katz! He is pain free for the first time after almost 3 years of suffering!

In November of 2018, I went to Dr. Vaynman on a recommendation from another doctor because I had severe pain, on and off, in my right leg, due to a deteriorating disk in my lower back. He showed me, via my CT scan, the exact problem I was having, and said he could correct the problem with spinal surgery. He explained to my wife & I all that would be done in an easy to understand way. He performed my Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion in April of 2019, and the pain that I was having in my leg immediately disappeared. Although it was an intricate and extremely involved surgery, my recovery went extremely well, and I was up walking pain free 3 days after surgery. I can’t thank Dr. Vaynman and his entire team enough, including his secretary, Liz, who was very kind and extremely knowledgeable and helpful in making all the arrangements for my surgery and follow-ups. Thank you all! You gave me my life back. Dr. Vaynman is the best. I would recommend him to anyone who has a back/spinal problem.

Steer clear of him. He claims to know minimally invasive disc surgery. He bruised my husband’s psoas muscles so badly he caused abscesses around the discs in his spine. It was and still is a nightmare we are dealing with. He made his spine worse than it was before going to him. Oh and his one girl office is rude and unprofessional to boot! I wouldn’t give him one star but I have to in order to review.

Dr Vaynman was amazing with my procedure.. I would highly recommend his services.

Unprofessional staff and office. Doctor and staff cancel appointments for non-medical emergency purposes and do not advise patients. Falsely claim that appointment was rescheduled. Aside from the obvious (I was standing in the office checinkg in for appointment), when asked the staffer who she spoke with and who purportedly rescheduled the appointment, the silence was deafening. Enough said. Would not recommend that anyone see this doctor.

I landed square on my head and crushed my neck ...I was severely injured and needed a triple bone fusion and a three inch titanium plate screwed into my neck..Dr Vaynman performed the whole operation and two years after it was done. I CAN MOVE MY NECK LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED. This guy is incredible..an artist with his God gifted hands...He saved my life..2 yr later and I can actually say I'm cured Amazing! thanks Doctor Vaynman, you truly are the absolute best surgeon in the world In your field

Dr. Artem Vaynman did surgery on my back that left me in a wheel chair with no feeling in my left leg from the thigh down called cauda equina. Had to have another two surgeries at HSS to fix his mistake so I could walk, but the nerve damage is forever. Stay Away!
