D. rSnyder Is the Man. Super Nice guy. Explains Everything right down to the smallest detail. He installed my Spinal Stimulator and he’s going back in in a few weeks to change out my system to place a more updated 1 in.
Saved my husband’s life with brain surgery!!Idk about bedside manner.. just saves lives!!!That’s what’s most important 😊
Dr Snyder performed brain surgery on my husband.. he saved his life.. Soo very thankful for him...
Like others have said - if we could give no stars that would be best.I had a spinal cord stimulator placed in 2018 which was my third back operation. I had worse pain afterwards which my spine surgeon said was likely from poor placement. The battery pack for the stimulator was completely coming out and was moving all over. I had to have it removed last month because it was becoming unbearable. After having it removed, my surgeon I trust with everything told me how horrific it was placed. I wish I had listened to him about not having the stimulator placed. Dr. Snyder spent approximately 5 minutes "pre-op" and my questions were a bother. Post-op he was nowhere to be found. No bedside manners. Such a shame. Save yourself and go elsewhere.
Doctor is no where to be found after issues. Spends minimal time before and after. Definitely seek care elsewhere. Save yourself.
My mother is a senior citizen and went to him for her chronic pain. She left feeling disenfranchised, depressed, and in tears. HORRIBLE!!! No Bedside manners...AVOID and go to another doctor who cares!
Absolutely a terrific surgeon and wonderful doctor. Always concerned His staff is on top of their game. Highly recommended after 6 spinal surgeries.
Dr. Synder is a very intelligent and talented doctor who gets to the point. I guess that can turn people off. Please look past that and continue to see him. I have seen many doctors that are warm and fuzzy but they couldn’t help me. I needed someone to stop the constant pain I was in. Dr. Synder gave me hope and continued to help me. Believe me I wasn’t thrilled with him at 1st but I needed my chronic pain to stop. Dr. Synder does has a warm and caring side him. I promise you!!
He has the personality of a wet rag but he is great at what he does with a scalpel. Ive had two surgeries with him. Great outcome
The doctor was disgraceful and rude to my family and I. We transported my father via ambulette from a nursing home to see him. He gave us 5 minutes if that and looked through a pile of papers while we spoke with him. He did not shake our hands and seemed annoyed. He did answer our questions but seemed annoyed that we were taking up his time. He could have been more kind to an elderly man in a wheelchair with his family.
Excellent caring physician
I would give no stars if I could. Arrogant no bedside manner. Questions annoyed him. Not professional in any way . Ileft his office a waste of time. Better to go to well qualified docs at NYU
I can't say enough about this doctor & his team especially Michelle. She was absolutely amazing. From my first meeting to my last, Dr. Synder was the answer to my prayers & just about the ONLY Dr. I saw this yr (I saw a lot trying to find the right Dr) that had an admirable bedside manner. I've been dealing with arrogance in Dr's since 11 due to my autoimmune illness & now 26 so I'm pretty hard to please being I built a thought shell dealing with them & so many. My referring Drs first words to me was "make sure you have a comfortable relationship with your surgeon or find a new one." From beginning to end I was happy. After suffering from severe back pain for over a year & many many rub around with Drs, once the pain from post-surgery slowly came down & the effects of the purpose of the procedure kicked in, I can happily say my pain has subsided drastically & now with physical therapy, I'm finally optimistic about my future with little back pain. He did a superb job on my stitching. People actually say it's a nice scar!I read some reviews that say he is quick & arrogant etc. Please keep in mind, at the end of the day it's a business & he has a lot of people in pain like you that need help & he is only 1 human. Plus I enjoy the in & out with little to no wait time so I have more of my day. To me, he was excellent & I can't say enough. Indefinite recommendation. Thank you, Dr. Synder & team
I have NEVER had such a horrible experience with a "physician". I was warned that he did not have a good bedside manner. This was putting it mildly. I can tolerate a lot, but this man is so despicable, his treatment of you is awful, I was flabbergasted. Unprofessional is being courteous to him. Run, find anyone else. If I could have given him a "0" I would have. I would rather suffer then let this awful man touch me.

No besdide manner and very aloof (in my opinion). Not someone who I would recomend to others, would give zero stars but site required I give at least one
Made serious prescription errors and was dishonest, providing misleading information. Post surgery, felt a lot of pain and had very bad scarring at the surgical site. This surgeon is unable to develop a rapport with patients.
Dr. Snyder is sub-specialized in his field and is the best of his kind. He is an insightful, caring, intelligent and impressive surgeon. He is the only neurosurgeon I would trust to do DBS for me as he is one of the few truly specialized in movement disorders. He is also obviously extremely smart, and uses his wisdom for the good of his patients. He is up to date on literature, and has an impressive number of publications to his credit. He trained with the leaders in his field, and it shows. He is also innovative, and is on the forefront of the use of DBS for treatment of diseases/illnesses beyond movement disorders alone.
