Best neurosurgeon out there. This doctor saved my life!! Dr. Mosley explains his patients every single detail of procedures and after care; he will answer any questions and concerns you might have. Very friendly office as well and professional doctor!
From the moment Dr. Mosely walked into the room his manner was confrontational. I was made to feel like I was wasting his time when I was there because of a referral from my neurologist. He never looked at any of the paperwork his office had me complete. His manner was very brusque and abrasive. To say the least I will never darken the doors of St. Luke's Hospital again. Dr. Mosely's manner was undignified and crude and it certainly isn't befitting a licensed doctor.
As a health care provider with 35 years of active practice, I cannot remember being more ill-treated by a fellow health care provider than during a recent consultation with Dr. Mosley. I had been referred by my primary care physician for a neurological consultation. From his first words, Dr. Mosley was argumentative and confrontational, suggesting that I was wasting his time. His abrupt manner implied that I had called him "out of the blue" rather than being referred. His undisguised disrespect was directed both to me and my referring doctor. I hope this was a unique video-consultation for him. As a UMKC Professor Emeritus, I certainly hope he does not teach students in the same manner as he spoke to me.
Dr Mosley is a kind man. I know he’s gone to Third World countries and helped people pro bono which is very awe inspiring of him!!!!!Although for my personal opinion I walked out of there worse then I came in. I have a diagnosis of what’s wrong with my back I was assaulted and attacked and I’m in the most severe pain I’ve ever been in my life! He refuses to do surgery and wanted me to go talk to a pain psychiatrist which just made me feel absolutely crazy and like I was wrong about my situation when I was told what my diagnosis was already. I left there thinking that I was crazy, and a nobody and haven’t stopped crying since then.Example, my minister commuted suicide because of severe back pain, I was so angry at him that he of all people would do such a thing!! I totally understand now as to why he did! My life is at a stand still because I cannot do anything fun, around the house, or even sleep well!! I feel as though no one cares at all. I use to be such a fun happy go lucky, up for anything kind of girl/ now I just exist!! I have to get my shots in my back next week, already had them done but made it worse. We will see🤞🏼
My mom has multiple myeloma and had to have a tumor removed from her spine- best surgeon- hardly no scar or residual pain- He has a great bed side manner and probably the most caring dr I've met in awhile - I am not easily impressed but was this time-
I only saw Dr. Mosley a few times, but he really listened and understood my situation. The thing I loved most was his honesty--he didn't try to rush me to the OR table, ya know? He suggested that I not get surgery and I was totally cool with that. He is personable, kind, open and funny. Super cool dude who will tell you like it is.
I was barely able to ambulate 30 feet without excruciating pain. I had a laminectony and a Discectomy with an orthopaedic surgein in 2016. Dr. Mosley was great he took so much time to explain my condition and how he thought we should proceed. I had a TLIF L4-5, S1 in 3.5.19 and upon waking in the recovery room instantly had no pain. Dr. Mosley has given me my life back, I have not used a walker or cane in 6 weeks. He has a great personality and bedside manner. The nurses love him.
Dr. Mosley is not only extremely knowledgeable, but he’s compassionate as well. I didn’t feel like just another patient to him. I know he cares about all of his patients. He listened to ALL of my concerns. He looked through all of my MRI images, he he did a physical exa. The first neurosurgeon I saw dismissed me within 10 minutes, only looked at a few images, and did no physical examination. I’m so thankful I followed my gut and looked for another opinion. I truly have my life back. TY Dr. Mos
