List of Anuj Malhotra's Reviews
I have recently been feeling back pain that wouldn't go away. I am so glad that I found Dr. Malhotra. He is extremely knowledgable, very attentive and extremely responsive. He treated me with a number of epidural injections and my pain has significantly improved. More importantly, the care, attention and responsiveness that i have received from Dr. Malhotra is unheard-of. Thank you Dr Malhotra, you indeed are an exemplary physician.
If you want to be treated like crap, then go to him. If you want to have a rude, unprofessional, psychopathic doctor then go to him. He shouldn't be practicing medicine. He is a danger to his patients and I am not exaggerating. He is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met. He dismisses concerning results and contradicts himself quite often. When I point him to his contradictions, he gets defensive. ...
Kind and compassionate. Expertise with needle placement for epidurals and RF ablation. Thoroughly explains treatment options. Easy to schedule tele health follow ups. Office scheduler is efficient and polite. Pain management is an art and a science. De Malhotra is very skilled.
Dr Malhotra is the Very Best of the Best. Professional & Caring ..His Skills save my life and keep me functioning day to day.. Although I have moved from NYC, I still fly in to see him. He's a life saver!
Dr. Malhotra was very kind and answered all my questions. I saw him after I had a bad experience at NYU. Dr Malhotra got me in right away for my procedure and everything ran on time and as planned.
Excellent physician. Spends time to fully explain procedures. Recognizes the need to intervene when pain interferes with life. Warm and caring.
Horrible, his wait time was almost always over 1 hour. He failed to diagnose osteomyelitis in my back for over 6 weeks, refused to order an MRI. He previously prescribed hydromorphone for over 3 years to me, a previous heroin user that he knew had OD’d a few years prior.
Dr M put me on dilaudid (hydromorphone) for 4 years after knowing I had previously OD’d on heroin. At the time I saw him, I had not abused opiates for 3 years. I was hit by a car and needed an increase in dosage, or some other option of treatment. He took me off dilaudid cold turkey and did not offer me any other options. As a result, I became addicted to heroin for 6 months, then on my own went to a suboxone center. Shortly after going off heroin, I had tremendous pain in my lower back for 3 months. He gave me a few shots in my back, and refused to order an MRI. I finally went to see my orthopedic surgeon and he immediately ordered an MRI, and couldn’t believe the lack of treatment I got from what he called ‘dr quack’. The mri showed osteomyelitis (bone infection) in my back. I’ve been in the hospital now for 3 weeks and will need to be transferred to a rehabilitation center to receive antibiotics and physical therapy. At this time I can barely walk due to delay in treatment!!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
