Because I can't give zero stars

I've never had a more caring doctor. Sure, you don't get to see her every appointment because she's in the office only half the time, the other half she's delivering babies. She was there for all 4 of my c-sections and did an amazing job. Every nurse that checked my incision could tell that Dr. Burstyn did the surgery because it was so neat well done. She has a wonderful bedside manner and really, truly cares about her patients.

I have never met a doctor who cares so little for her patients. Appalled that she even has a license.

I was born in 2006 and Dr. Burstyn wanted my mom to terminate her pregnancy. But my mom said no. I'm just saying my life is good and I'm glad my mom didn't terminate me! So you could say I'm mad finding this out.

She was nice and was a good doctor. So I thought. WRONG!! I saw her back in 2014. Told me I had large cyst on my ovaries and that I should differently have a total Hysterectomy. She told me she would not recommend laparoscopic surgery because I was too small down there and was afraid everything might not come out. She was going to due total abdominal surgery. She also lead me to believe that the cyst were cancer. Well, thanks be to God, I went to someone else. Was told that the cyst were not cancer and that they were in fact tiny. She maybe good for delivering babies, but please get a second opinion if she tells you that you need surgery.

No bedside manner; she is somewhat cold. She wrote the wrong script for the imaging she wanted done, causing me to lose leave time at my job because the imaging office couldn’t do what she wanted. I had made an appointment for what she told me to and when the staff saw the script they said they had to reschedule me because those appointments are made on certain days when the technician who knows how to operate that machinery is available. When I called Burstyn’s office and explained the problem I never received an apology. I left her and went to another doctor who actually cares about her patients, not just their wallets.

Dr. Burstyn delivered my identical twins in 2011. We can not praise Dr. Burstyn and her office staff enough and truly believe she saved our twins. Any wait we ever had there was well worth the confidence we had in their medical knowledge and the care we received. We will forever be thankful for Shari g our pregnancy and birth with Dr. Burstyn.

I had Dr. Burstyn for my first child's birth and was so upset by the experience that I will never go back.

I have been a patient with Dr. B for 7 years. She delivered all three of my babies. She is compassionate & dedicated, as are her nurses and ultrasound technicians. I always felt I was in the best hands & am thankful I found her practice.
