Billing department is awful 😞

Dr. Le was very nice and was very professional. She helped me understand during my eye exam why one of my eyes has a stronger prescription than the other. If you are looking for a new optometrist I highly recommend going to see Dr. Le.

I visited this place for the 2nd time to get my eye exam and glasses done, and I also scheduled an appointment for my daughter. I got there and saw the tech and everything, which took them a while. After being there for almost 3 hours, Dr. Lee finally tells me, "well, everything seems to be good but you have to come back to get your eye exam, I was just doing your diabetes check." Confused, I responded, "What do you mean? I came here to get my eye exam and glasses done. Why is it that you can't do that today? I've already been here for almost 3hrs". She answered, "Well, ma'am, I don't know, I was not the one that made your appointment." I went to the front desk and asked about what my type of appointment was. The lady at the desk told me that it was to get my eye exam and new glasses and that she didn't understand how it was that Dr. Lee couldn't do my eye exam. Then she asked another doctor to see if he could help me. Thank god he was able to do most of the stuff that was supposed to be done from the beginning, but unfortunately, some type of eye drops were used and I wasn't able to see clearly. Her closing statement after seeing my daughter was, "I don't have what I need to do your daughter's exam because I can't get her to see 20/20".... Thank you for wasting 3 hours of our time and making us pay for not getting anything done. Long story short, I was there for 3 hours and still had to book another appointment to get my eye exam and glasses done. My daughter will have to be checked somewhere else. I'll never be seeing this Dr Lee again. I had never had such a horrible experience with an eye doctor before, and it should never take so long.

I see Dr. Lemanski and she's very thorough, answers questions with in depth factual explanations, and spends plenty of time with patients and doesn't seemed rushed or in a hurry. The only downside is the amount of time that you wait in the office. The wait time is guaranteed to be about 2 hours. You can expect to be there for at least 4 hours; includes testing, photos of the inside of your eyes, waiting in the waiting rooms, waiting in the exam room for the doctor to come in, and the amount of time that you actually see the doctor and talk to the doctor. The wait time in the office is the only reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars

Quickly remedied and addressed a contact lens issue I had over the weekend / outside of normal business hours and went above and beyond what was expected in terms of responsiveness to patient concerns. Highly recommend.

Got referred to this practice by hospital ER, after a workers comp case with my eyes being exposed to UV. To be honest I’m not sure if they would have taken me or anyone without an insurance card. Staff were nice. But without an apt or insurance you’re probably screwed. All I need was the doctor to take a look at my eyes to verify they were healing up. They put me through every type of exam machine and scan. So they can probably bill insurance through workers comp. Finally saw the doctor the last 5 minutes to be told my eyes are okay and healing up and to come back again.

My wife first met Dr. Cheng at an emergency room visit at Ellis Hospital and has been a patient since. I also became a patient of Dr. Cheng soon after, for annual eye exams. We have both had laser cataract surgery and now have much improved eyesight back. Dr. Cheng is a warm, caring and knowledgeable person and also has a very friendly, efficient and professional staff, with a "state of the art" clinic. We highly recommend Dr. Cheng and her office for your eyecare and surgery.

Cataract surgery was better than I had been told by previous patient. Office staff friendly and caring. Dr. Cheng is caring and ready to answer questions and concerns. Great experience.
