List of Alfred D. Belen's Reviews
He's the best do kind and helpful I would probably be in the nut house if it was not for him i 100% recommend himOh and his staff is so freaking nice caring and polite and helpful I love Melanie the receptionist she is awesome
I’d give this Moran no stars if I could. Beware of this I’ll mannered , wack job. You would get in the Alzheimer’s Ward.
This man has no compassion at all. He will switch your meds monthly . He is a hazard to your health and well-being. Stay clear...
Dr Belen was kind and friendly to me he asked me questions and he listened to me i told him what works for me so he said ok all the receptionist are very nice and friendly so are his Nurses. I really like Dr. Belen so far i hope it stays that way.
Horrible doctor/psychologist. Not empathic and pretty much tries to rush his visits. He got mad at me for asking questions about the medicines he wanted to prescribe me. I recommend people not to go to him.
I've never had a bad experience at this office. Staff is kind and friendly. Dr. Bellen is very available in times of crisis and quite in contrast to many of the reviews has kept me on a steady regimen of medicine with no variance. I rather like it here
Caring and professional Dr. and staff. He was able to figure out what medications worked best for me and has helped me in living a much more productive and hopeful life. One review on here stated poor medication/ refills not being timely. I have never experienced any issues at all with medication and have found the office staff to be more than helpful with refills if needed.
This guy is a terrible doctor, only cares about money. Fails on all levels, diagnostically he's weak, pharmaceutical recommendations are based on a whim, & bedside manner is atrocious if not nonexistent; literally is only good at the bureaucracy side of being a doctor, which makes me wonder why he's not the working behind the counter as a secretary...Well that's unfair, his secretaries would probably do a much better job than him.
This guy sucks at what he does, attempted to mess with my med regimen by attempting to prescribe a "natural alternative" medication; a medication that he said would "put less strain on my body" & that "my current regimen has a chance of hurting my liver." After looking up more information later on, I found the medicine HE recommended is actually known to cause massive liver damage to the point where most people require their liver to be tested before even being prescribed it, and he was just willing to write me a script then and there to replace my old regimen of medication; which by the way, I already had worked out before seeing him and was working fine! And then when I insisted that the regiment I had was working & I wasn't interested in his "alternatives" & that I have long already worked out a balanced regiment his response was "I'm the doctor". After that he started pulling my meds from me little by little at his discretion and as much as he could with plausible deniability.

After that he started pulling my meds from me little by little at his discretion and as much as he could with plausible deniability. When I mentioned my medicine has withdrawal symptoms, his response was: "oh, there are no withdrawal symptoms" even though it says literally right on the label that it is dangerous to suddenly discontinue use. Kept bringing up the "natural alternative" of the week (which was basically whatever stuff that was easy to prescribe, from whenever pharmaceutical company knocked on his door that week.) And eventually he just completely pulled my medicine right out from under me. No warning, just one day he didn't feel comfortable writing scripts for my medicine... Like that's not his job or something. And he didn't seem to care about how that would affect me beyond throwing his arms up and shrugging. Eventually after refusing his "pharma-sponsored medication alternatives" again, he agreed to fill my prescription if "testing was done to make sure I was healthy enough." I did so, doctor said it was normal, but he didn't seem to agree. And now would only re-prescribe if I went to see a specialist. Needless to say this guy has an agenda, & is about as sketchy as a modern-day doctor can get away with safely being, while covering their own @$$. Everything he does in that office is for himself, nothing he doesn't that office is for his patients. & since you read these reviews and frequently flags negative ones Dr. Belen, I expect extra discrimination & passive aggressively bad treatment from you in the future... Which is why I plan on discontinuing your services as soon as possible, you tiny greedy man.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
